PM मोदी ने सड़क किनारे किस अजनबी को देख रुकवा दिया था अपना काफिला?
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Narendra Modi) के साथ तमाम दिलचस्प कहानियां जुड़ी हैं. उन्हें करीब से जानने वाले और साथ काम कर चुके लोग कई रोचक किस्से सुनाते हैं. केंद्रीय मंत्री स्मृति ईरानी (Smriti Irani) भी प्रधानमंत्री से जुड़ा एक ऐसा ही किस्सा सुनाती हैं. यह किस्सा तब का है जब नरेंद्र मोदी, गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री हुआ करते थे.
स्मृति ईरानी (Smriti Irani) कहती हैं नरेंद्र मोदी (Narendra Modi) उस वक्त गुजरात के सीएम थे. एक दिन CM ऑफिस में सब लोग इकट्ठा थे. कॉम्प्लेक्स में तमाम मंत्री वगैरह भी खड़े थे. बैठक के बाद नरेंद्र मोदी जब ऑफिस से निकले तो देखा कि गेट के ठीक बाहर सड़क किनारे एक शख़्स खड़ा है और हाथ हिला रहा है. नरेंद्र मोदी ने अपनी गाड़ी रुकवा दी. उनके पास गए और पूछा कि क्या हो गया? आप क्यों खड़े हो? वो शख़्स दक्षिण भारत के थे और अपने परिवार के साथ अहमदाबाद घूमने आए थे.
क्या थी पूरी कहानी?
ईरानी याद करती हैं, ‘नरेंद्र मोदी के सवाल पर शख़्स ने बताया कि उनकी पत्नी अचानक बीमार हो गईं. उन्हें अहमदाबाद के एक हॉस्पिटल में भर्ती कराया है, लेकिन उनके पास इलाज के पैसे नहीं बचे हैं. मोदी ने पूरी बात सुनी और कहा- आप चिंता न करो, पत्नी के इलाज की जिम्मेदारी मेरी है. मैं पैसे दे दूंगा’. स्मृति ईरानी कहती हैं कि नरेंद्र भाई ने फौरन अफसरों को उस अजबनी की पत्नी को अच्छे से अच्छा इलाज कराने और हर संभव मदद का निर्देश दिया.
मदद नहीं भूला था वो शख़्स
modistory को दिये एक इंटरव्यू में स्मृति ईरानी कहती हैं कहानी अभी खत्म नहीं हुई थी. चूंकि नरेंद्र भाई हर दिन तमाम लोगों की मदद करते हैं, ऐसे में वो इस बात को भूल चुके थे. इस घटना के कुछ वक्त बाद मोदी जी उसी दक्षिण भारतीय राज्य में गए, जहां का वो शख़्स रहने वाला था. कार्यक्रम स्थल के बाहर उस शख़्स ने छोटे-छोटे पोस्टर लगाए थे, जिसमें लिखा था कि कोई मुझे नरेंद्र मोदी से मिलवा दो. उन्होंने मेरी मदद की थी और अब मुझे उनसे मिलकर उनके पैसे लौटाने हैं.
सांसद बनते ही थमा दी थी फाइल
इसी इंटरव्यू में स्मृति ईरानी एक और किस्सा सुनाती हैं. यह किस्सा तब का है, जब ईरानी ने पहली बार गुजरात से राज्यसभा का पर्चा भरा था. वह कहती हैं कि सारे नॉमिनेशन के बाद मैं सर्किट हाउस चली गई. थोड़ी देर बाद दरवाजे पर दस्तक हुई. मैंने दरवाजा खोला तो सामने नरेंद्र मोदी के एक सहयोगी खड़े थे. उन्होंने कहा, बधाई हो, आप सांसद बन गई हैं और मुझे एक मोटी सी फाइल पकड़ा दी. मैंने पूछा ये क्या है? उन्होंने कहा, इस फाइल में गुजरात से जुड़े वो सारे विषय हैं जिन्हें केंद्र में आपको उठाना है. मुझे 15 मिनट का भी मौका नहीं मिला. यह दिखाता है कि नरेंद्र मोदी काम को लेकर कितने जुनूनी हैं.

Modi listened to the whole thing and said- Don't worry, it is my responsibility to treat my wife. I will give the money'. Smriti Irani says that Narendra Bhai immediately instructed the officers to provide the best treatment and all possible help to the stranger's wife.
That person had not forgotten the help
In an interview given to modistory, Smriti Irani says that the story was not over yet. Since Narendra Bhai helps many people every day, he had forgotten this. Some time after this incident, Modi ji went to the same South Indian state where the person was from. That person had put up small posters outside the venue, in which it was written that someone should introduce me to Narendra Modi. He had helped me and now I have to meet him and return his money.
The file was handed over as soon as he became MP
In this interview, Smriti Irani tells another story. This incident is from the time when Irani filed her nomination for Rajya Sabha from Gujarat for the first time. She says that after all the nominations, I went to the Circuit House. After some time there was a knock at the door. When I opened the door, an aide of Narendra Modi was standing in front. He said, congratulations, you have become an MP and handed me a thick file. I asked what is this? He said, this file contains all the issues related to Gujarat which you have to raise at the Centre. I didn't even get a chance for 15 minutes. This shows how passionate Narendra Modi is about his work.
