बीकानेर में हुए 70 फीट गड्ढे का ऑब्जर्वेशन पूरा, वैज्ञानिकों ने पता लगा लिया जमीन धंसने का रहस्य?

जियोलॉजिकल सर्वे ऑफ इंडिया की टीम 24 अप्रैल को बीकानेर पहुंची. यहा धंसी हुई जमीन का ऑब्जर्वेशन किया. इसके कारणों का पता लगाया. GSI के वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक डॉ. देव प्रसाद साहू ने अपनी राय व्यक्त की तो जियोलॉजिस्ट डॉ. देवेश खंडेलवाल की बात पर मुहर लग गई. उन्होंने कहा था कि वॉटर लॉगिंग की वजह से जमीन धंसी. हालांकि, जीएसआई के किसी वैज्ञानिक ने मीडिया से बात नहीं की. उनका कहना था कि वे अपनी रिपोर्ट वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिकों को सौंपेंगे. वही इस बारे में बात करेंगे.

बीकानेर में 16 अप्रैल को डेढ़ बीघा जमीन धंस गई थी
बीकानेर की लूणकरणसर तहसील के सहजरासर गांव में 16 अप्रैल को करीब डेढ़ बीघा जमीन धंस गई थी. 24 अप्रैल को जीएसआई यानी जियोलॉजिकल सर्वे ऑफ इंडिया की टीम मौके पर पहुंची. जमीन धंसने के कारणों का पता लगा रही है. जमीन धंस जाने के बाद जब भूगर्भ शास्त्री डॉ. देवेश खंडेलवाल से इसकी वजह पूछी गई तो उनका यही कहना था कि किसी जमाने में यहां जमीन के नीचे पानी का कोई प्राकृतिक स्त्रोत रहा होगा, जिसके सूख जाने के बाद यहां वैक्यूम बन गया. अचानक उसके खत्म हो जाने से जमीन धंस गई होगी. लेकिन, असली कारण का पता जियोलॉजिकल सर्वे ऑफ इंडिया की टीम बताएगी.

स्थानीय लोग प्राकृतिक आपदा मान रहे थे
बीकानेर से आए भू-वैज्ञानिकों ने वॉटर लॉगिंग को जमीन के धँसने की वजह बताई थी, वहीं स्थानीय लोग इस बात को मानने को तैयार नहीं थे. उनका ये कहना था कि ये इलाका रेगिस्तान है और सदियों से ऐसा ही रहा है. ऐसे जमीन के नीचे पानी के जमा होने का सवाल ही पैदा नहीं होता. कुछ लोग इसे प्राकृतिक आपदा मान रहे थे, वहीं कई लोग इसे दैवीय प्रकोप भी कह रहे हैं. सबके अपने-अपने तर्क थे.

स्थानीय सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता ने पीएम मोदी को लेटर भेजा था
सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता श्रेयांश बैद ने इस मामले को लेकर प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी को भी पत्र भेजा था. वैज्ञानिक तरीके से जांच कराने की मांग की थी. उनका कहना है कि ये प्राकृतिक आपदा है. लेकिन, कारणों की जांच होनी.चाहिए, जिससे आने वाले वक़्त में कोई हादसा ना हो. साथ ही अगर कोई हादसा होता है तो लोग अपना बचाव कर सकें.

अचानक हुई भूगर्भीय घटना ने लोगों को हैरत में डाला
डेढ़ बीघा जमीन में अचानक 70 फुट नीचे धंसने की घटना लोगों के लिए आश्चर्य का विषय बन गई. आसपास के लोगों ने क्षेत्र में कई सालों पहले बिजली गिरी थी. ग्रामीणों का मानना है कि इस वजह से हर साल मिट्टी धंसती गई. इसके चलते लोगों ने इस स्थान को 'बिजलगढ़' का नाम दे दिया. लोगों ने बताया कि जमीन धंसने की घटना को लेकर उन्होंने कई बार प्रशासन को इस मामले की सूचना दी है.

Geologists from Bikaner had cited water logging as the reason for land subsidence, but the local people were not ready to accept this. He said that this area is a desert and has been like this for centuries. In such a situation, the question of accumulation of water under the ground does not arise. Some people were considering it a natural disaster, while many people were also calling it a divine wrath. Everyone had their own arguments.

Local social worker had sent a letter to PM Modi
Social activist Shreyansh Baid had also sent a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding this matter. There was a demand for a scientific investigation. They say that this is a natural disaster. But, the reasons should be investigated, so that no accidents happen in future. Also, if any accident happens, people can protect themselves.

GSI team had reached Bikaner to find out the cause of land subsidence.

A sudden geological event surprised people.
The incident of one and a half bigha land suddenly sinking 70 feet below became a matter of surprise for the people. People living nearby said that the area was struck by lightning many years ago. Villagers believe that due to this the soil started sinking every year. Due to this, people named this place 'Bijalgarh'. People said that they have informed the administration several times regarding the incident of land subsidence.
