राजस्थान में इस बार बांसवाड़ा सीट पर लोकसभा का रिजल्ट काफी चौंकाने वाला रहा। यहां कांग्रेस से भाजपा में आए महेंद्रजीत सिंह को भारत आदिवासी पार्टी के उम्मीदवार राजकुमार ने 2ण्47 लाख वोटों के बड़े अंतर से हराया। संपूर्ण राजस्थान में किसी ने सोचा नहीं था कि इस सीट पर ऐसा परिणाम देखने को मिलेगा। लेकिन क्या आप जानते हैं कि जिस पार्टी से राजकुमार ने चुनाव लड़ा। उसकी लोकप्रियता राजस्थान में लगातार बढ़ती जा रही है। पार्टी का गठन होने के 8 महीने के भीतर ही पार्टी के तीन विधायक और एक सांसद चुनाव जीत चुके हैं।

विधानसभा चुनाव में पार्टी के तीन उम्मीदवार विधायक बने थे। और अब 72 साल बाद बांसवाड़ा सीट पर पार्टी के उम्मीदवार राजकुमार रोत ने बड़ी जीत हासिल की है। राजस्थान में विधानसभा चुनाव होने के 2 महीने पहले ही इस पार्टी का गठन हुआ था। इसके बाद हाल ही में सांसद का चुनाव जीतने वाले राजकुमार ने चौरासीए डूंगरपुर की आसपुर सीट से उमेश मीणा और प्रतापगढ़ की धरियावद सीट से थावरचंद ने जीत हासिल की। इतना ही नहीं पार्टी के पांच प्रत्याशी विधानसभा चुनाव में दूसरे नंबर पर रहे।
राजस्थान में अपना अच्छा खासा प्रभाव
राजस्थान में आज भी आदिवासी जनसंख्या ज्यादा नहीं है लेकिन इसके बावजूद भी पार्टी ने राजस्थान में अपना अच्छा खासा प्रभाव छोड़ा हुआ है। एक्सपर्ट बताते हैं कि केवल आदिवासी नहीं पार्टी को अन्य लोग भी वोट करते हैं। जिसका का ही नतीजा है कि पार्टी के प्रत्याशी 2 लाख के बड़े अंतर से चुनाव जीते हैं।
