अजमेर, 9 मार्च: पुष्कर में वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता पुरुषोत्तम जाखेटिया की मौत के बाद वकीलों में भारी आक्रोश देखने को मिला। अजमेर बार एसोसिएशन के आह्वान पर अजमेर, पुष्कर, नसीराबाद और ब्यावर में बाजार पूरी तरह बंद रहा, लेकिन इस दौरान वकीलों ने मॉल, दुकानों और शराब के ठेकों में जमकर तोड़फोड़ की। कई जगह दुकानों का सामान बाहर फेंका गया और जबरन दुकानें बंद करवाई गईं, जबकि पुलिस मूकदर्शक बनी रही।

वकीलों का आक्रोश और हिंसक प्रदर्शन

आज सुबह बड़ी संख्या में वकील अजमेर कोर्ट परिसर में इकट्ठा हुए। हाथों में लाठी-डंडे लेकर निकले वकीलों ने अजमेर के बाजारों में जबरन दुकानें बंद करवाई।

हालांकि, बार एसोसिएशन अध्यक्ष अशोक सिंह रावत ने शांतिपूर्ण बंद का आह्वान किया था, लेकिन गुस्साए वकीलों ने अजमेर के पुष्कर रोड और सिने वर्ल्ड स्थित शराब के ठेकों पर हंगामा किया और ठेका संचालक व एक युवक की पिटाई कर दी।
