मृतक अग्निवीर सौरभ कुमार (24) उत्तर प्रदेश के कन्नौज जिले के सूखी गांव का निवासी था। बताया जा रहा है कि प्रशिक्षण के दौरान अचानक एक फायर सिलेंडर फट गया, जिससे सौरभ गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया। उसे तुरंत एक निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया, लेकिन उपचार के दौरान उसकी मृत्यु हो गई।
एक साल पहले ही अग्निवीर की नौकरी में हुआ था भर्ती
इस घटना की जानकारी मिलने के बाद सौरभ के परिजन शनिवार सुबह आरबीएम अस्पताल पहुंचे। यहां, मेडिकल बोर्ड की मदद से शव का पोस्टमार्टम किया गया और फिर इसे परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया। सौरभ अपने परिवार में तीसरे नंबर के भाई थे, जिनके दो भाई और तीन बहनें हैं। उन्होंने अगस्त 2023 में अग्निवीर के रूप में भर्ती होकर भरतपुर की रेजिमेंट में सेवा शुरू की थी।
सेना के अधिकारियों ने दिए इस पूरे घटनाक्रम की जांच के आदेश
इस घटना ने न केवल सौरभ के परिवार को बल्कि पूरे समुदाय को शोक में डाल दिया है। सेना के अधिकारियों ने हादसे की विस्तृत जांच का आश्वासन दिया है, ताकि भविष्य में ऐसे हादसों से बचा जा सके। सौरभ की मौत ने यह स्पष्ट कर दिया है कि सैन्य प्रशिक्षण में भी सुरक्षा को लेकर पर्याप्त सावधानी बरतने की आवश्यकता है। इस पूरे घटनाक्रम की जांच के आदेश दे दिए गए हैं।

He was recruited in the job of Agniveer only a year ago

Saurabh was the third sibling in his family, who has two brothers and three sisters. He started serving in the regiment of Bharatpur by enlisting as Agniveer in August 2023.
