जोधपुर जिले में भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक ब्यूरो (ACB) ने शुक्रवार को एक बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए राजकीय ट्रोमा सेंटर बिलाड़ा के चिकित्साधिकारी डॉ. बुधराज बिश्नोई को ₹3,70,000 की रिश्वत लेते हुए रंगे हाथों गिरफ्तार किया। यह कार्रवाई ACB मुख्यालय के निर्देश पर जोधपुर शहर इकाई द्वारा की गई।

भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक ब्यूरो के महानिदेशक गोविंद गुप्ता ने बताया कि ACB को एक परिवादी ने शिकायत दी थी कि डॉ. बुधराज बिश्नोई द्वारा उसके भाई को फार्मासिस्ट के पद पर नियुक्ति दिलाने के बदले ₹3 लाख की रिश्वत मांगी जा रही थी। साथ ही परिवादी के मित्र को सफाईकर्मी के पद पर नियुक्ति दिलाने के लिए ₹50,000 से ₹1,00,000 तक की राशि की मांग बताई गई। शिकायत में यह भी उल्लेख था कि यह रकम सीएमएचओ जोधपुर ग्रामीण डॉ. मोहनदान देथा के नाम पर मांगी जा रही है।

शिकायत की पुष्टि के बाद ACB जोधपुर शहर इकाई ने उपमहानिरीक्षक पुलिस भुवन भूषण यादव के सुपरविजन और अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक चक्रवर्ती सिंह राठौड़ के नेतृत्व में ट्रैप कार्रवाई की योजना बनाई। निर्धारित समय पर डॉक्टर बिश्नोई परिवादी से निर्धारित राशि ले रहे थे, तभी ACB टीम ने उन्हें रंगे हाथों गिरफ्तार कर लिया। मौके से ₹3,70,000 की रिश्वत राशि बरामद की गई।

मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक ब्यूरो की अतिरिक्त महानिदेशक पुलिस स्मिता श्रीवास्तव स्वयं पूरे प्रकरण की मॉनिटरिंग कर रही हैं। आरोपी चिकित्साधिकारी से पूछताछ जारी है, और यह जांच भी की जा रही है कि क्या किसी अन्य अधिकारी या कर्मचारी की इसमें संलिप्तता है।

ACB अधिकारियों ने बताया कि आरोपी के खिलाफ भ्रष्टाचार निवारण अधिनियम के तहत प्रकरण दर्ज कर लिया गया है। जांच टीम अब यह पता लगाने में जुटी है कि क्या इसी प्रकार की और नियुक्तियों में भी रिश्वत ली गई है और क्या इस नेटवर्क में अन्य लोग भी शामिल हैं। प्रारंभिक जांच संकेत करती है कि यह भ्रष्टाचार का एक संगठित प्रयास हो सकता है।

जोधपुर जिले में यह कार्रवाई एक महत्वपूर्ण संदेश देती है कि सरकारी नियुक्तियों में भ्रष्टाचार और रिश्वतखोरी पर अब सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी। सरकारी पदों पर नियुक्ति जैसे संवेदनशील मामलों में रिश्वतखोरी समाज और युवाओं के भविष्य से खिलवाड़ के समान है। ACB की इस कार्रवाई से प्रशासनिक तंत्र में पारदर्शिता और जवाबदेही को बढ़ावा मिलने की उम्मीद है।

जांच पूरी होने के बाद ACB विस्तृत रिपोर्ट तैयार करेगी और दोषियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

In a major action on Friday, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Jodhpur district arrested Dr. Budhraj Bishnoi, medical officer at the Government Trauma Center, Bilara, red-handed while accepting a bribe of ₹370,000. The action was taken by the Jodhpur city unit on the instructions of ACB headquarters.

Anti-Corruption Bureau Director General Govind Gupta stated that a complainant had complained to the ACB that Dr. Budhraj Bishnoi was demanding a bribe of ₹3 lakh in exchange for appointing his brother as a pharmacist. He also reportedly demanded a sum ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹100,000 for appointing the complainant's friend as a sweeper. The complaint also stated that this amount was being demanded in the name of Dr. Mohandan Detha, CMHO, Jodhpur Rural.

Following the confirmation of the complaint, the ACB Jodhpur City unit, under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General of Police Bhuvan Bhushan Yadav and the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Chakravarti Singh Rathore, planned a trap. At the appointed time, Dr. Bishnoi was accepting the agreed amount from the complainant when the ACB team arrested him red-handed. A bribe of ₹370,000 was recovered from the scene.

Given the seriousness of the matter, Smita Srivastava, Additional Director General of Police, Anti-Corruption Bureau, is personally monitoring the entire case. The accused medical officer is being interrogated, and an investigation is underway to determine the involvement of any other officer or employee.

ACB officials stated that a case has been registered against the accused under the Prevention of Corruption Act. The investigation team is now investigating whether bribes were taken in other similar appointments and whether other individuals are involved in this network. Preliminary investigations indicate that this may be an organized corruption effort.

This action in Jodhpur district sends an important message that strict action will now be taken against corruption and bribery in government appointments. Bribery in sensitive matters such as government appointments is tantamount to jeopardizing society and the future of youth. This action by the ACB is expected to promote transparency and accountability in the administrative system.
