उत्तर प्रदेश के बरेली जिले में सोशल मीडिया और पुलिस के बेहतरीन तालमेल का एक ऐसा मामला सामने आया है, जिसने यह साबित कर दिया कि सही समय पर मिली तकनीकी जानकारी किसी की जान भी बचा सकती है। भमोरा थाना क्षेत्र के एक युवक ने अपनी पत्नी से विवाद के बाद मानसिक तनाव में आकर जहर खा लिया और अपनी आत्महत्या का वीडियो इंस्टाग्राम पर पोस्ट कर दिया। यह वीडियो जैसे ही इंस्टाग्राम के सिस्टम में फ्लैग हुआ, मेटा ने तुरंत यूपी पुलिस को अलर्ट भेज दिया। इस अलर्ट की बदौलत पुलिस सही समय पर मौके पर पहुंची और युवक की जान बचा ली।

सूत्रों के अनुसार, युवक द्वारा पोस्ट किया गया वीडियो प्लेटफॉर्म पर आते ही मेटा की सुरक्षा टीम की नजर में आया। कंपनी ने तत्काल यूपी पुलिस के सोशल मीडिया कंट्रोल रूम, लखनऊ को एक ईमेल भेजा। इस ईमेल में युवक की इंस्टाग्राम आईडी, वीडियो लिंक और उसकी अनुमानित लोकेशन से जुड़ी अहम जानकारी शामिल थी। देखते ही देखते सूचना जिले की साइबर सेल और बरेली पुलिस तक पहुंच गई।

पुलिस ने तकनीकी सर्विलांस की मदद से युवक की मोबाइल लोकेशन को ट्रेस किया। लोकेशन कन्फर्म होते ही भमोरा थाना प्रभारी अपनी टीम के साथ मौके की ओर रवाना हो गए। जब पुलिस घर पहुंची, तो दरवाजा अंदर से बंद था। खिड़की से झांकने पर युवक बेहोश पड़ा दिखाई दिया। पुलिस ने समय गंवाए बिना दरवाजा तोड़ा और युवक को तुरंत अस्पताल पहुंचाया। डॉक्टरों के अनुसार, यदि 10–15 मिनट और देरी होती, तो उसकी जान बचाना मुश्किल हो सकता था। पूरी प्रक्रिया — अलर्ट मिलने से लेकर युवक को अस्पताल पहुंचाने तक — महज 12 मिनट में पूरी हो गई।

बताया जाता है कि युवक पेशे से इलेक्ट्रिशियन है और हाल ही में किसी पारिवारिक विवाद को लेकर पत्नी से तीखी बहस हुई थी। इसी मानसिक तनाव में उसने यह कदम उठाया। फिलहाल उसकी हालत स्थिर बताई जा रही है और उसे काउंसलिंग भी दी जा रही है।

युवक के परिवार ने यूपी पुलिस की त्वरित कार्रवाई की जमकर प्रशंसा की। उसकी मां ने कहा कि उन्हें अंदाजा भी नहीं था कि उनका बेटा कुछ ऐसा करने जा रहा है। उन्होंने भावुक होकर कहा, “अगर पुलिस समय पर न आती, तो शायद आज हमारा बेटा जिंदा नहीं होता।”

बरेली एसएसपी अनुराग आर्य ने इस मामले पर कहा कि तकनीक के माध्यम से पुलिस अब पहले से कहीं अधिक सतर्क और प्रतिक्रियाशील हो गई है। यह घटना बताती है कि सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म और कानून व्यवस्था के बीच सही समन्वय जीवनरक्षक साबित हो सकता है।

In Bareilly district, Uttar Pradesh, a case of excellent coordination between social media and the police has emerged, proving that timely technical information can save lives. A young man from the Bhamora police station area, under stress after a dispute with his wife, consumed poison and posted a video of his suicide on Instagram. As soon as the video was flagged in Instagram's system, Meta immediately alerted the UP Police. Thanks to this alert, the police arrived on the scene in time and saved the young man's life.

According to sources, Meta's security team noticed the video posted by the young man as soon as it appeared on the platform. The company immediately sent an email to the UP Police's Social Media Control Room in Lucknow. This email included crucial information about the young man's Instagram ID, the video link, and his approximate location. The information quickly reached the district's cyber cell and the Bareilly police.

Using technical surveillance, the police traced the young man's mobile location. Upon confirming the location, the Bhamora police station in-charge and his team rushed to the scene. When the police arrived at the house, the door was locked from the inside. Upon looking through the window, the young man was found unconscious. Without wasting any time, the police broke down the door and immediately rushed him to the hospital. According to doctors, a delay of even 10-15 minutes would have made saving his life difficult. The entire process—from receiving the alert to transporting the young man to the hospital—took just 12 minutes.

The young man is reportedly an electrician by profession and recently had a heated argument with his wife over a family dispute. This mental stress led him to take this extreme step. His condition is currently stable and he is receiving counseling.

The young man's family praised the UP Police for their prompt action. His mother said she had no idea her son would do such a thing. She emotionally remarked, "If the police hadn't arrived on time, our son might not be alive today."

Bareilly SSP Anurag Arya commented on the incident, saying that technology has made police more vigilant and responsive than ever before. This incident demonstrates that proper coordination between social media platforms and law enforcement can prove lifesaving.
