यह घोषणा अंतरिम सरकार के प्रमुख मोहम्मद यूनुस ने राष्ट्र के नाम संबोधन में की। उन्होंने कहा कि इस दौरान देशभर में झंडे झुके रहेंगे और सभी लोगों से अपील है कि शोक के समय में शांति, अनुशासन और धैर्य बनाए रखें।

बुधवार को अंतिम संस्कार, राष्ट्रीय अवकाश

यूनुस ने कहा,

"पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री बेगम खालिदा जिया के निधन पर तीन दिन का राजकीय शोक घोषित किया जाता है। उनके जनाजे के दिन देशभर में सामान्य अवकाश रहेगा।"

उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि लाखों लोग इस नेता को सम्मान देने के लिए एकत्र होंगे, इसलिए व्यवस्था बनाए रखना और प्रशासन का सहयोग करना सभी की जिम्मेदारी है।

BNP ने सात दिवसीय शोक कार्यक्रम घोषित किया

सरकारी घोषणा से पहले बांग्लादेश नेशनलिस्ट पार्टी (BNP) ने सात दिन का राष्ट्रीय शोक घोषित कर दिया है।
BNP के वरिष्ठ संयुक्त महासचिव रुहुल कबीर रिजवी ने बताया कि शोक अवधि के दौरान:

• पार्टी कार्यालयों पर काले झंडे फहराए जाएंगे

• सभी नेता व कार्यकर्ता काले बैज पहनेंगे

• दुआ और कुरान पाठ कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे

• ढाका नयापालटन, गुलशन और जिला कार्यालयों में संवेदना पुस्तिकाएं उपलब्ध रहेंगी

यह कदम समर्थकों को खालिदा जिया को श्रद्धांजलि देने और अंतिम विदाई में शामिल होने का अवसर देगा।

राजनीति की 'आयरन लेडी' का अंत

80 वर्षीय खालिदा जिया ने ढाका के एवरकेयर अस्पताल में सुबह करीब 6 बजे अंतिम सांस ली।
बीएनपी ने सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म X पर उनकी मौत की पुष्टि की।
वे बीते 36 दिनों से अस्पताल में भर्ती थीं।
23 नवंबर को दिल और फेफड़ों में संक्रमण की वजह से उन्हें भर्ती किया गया था।
निमोनिया सहित कई स्वास्थ्य जटिलताओं से जूझते हुए उनका निधन हुआ।

खालिदा जिया बांग्लादेश की पहली महिला प्रधानमंत्री थीं और दो बार देश की सत्ता संभाली।
उन्होंने कई दशकों तक देश की राजनीति को दिशा दी, विपक्ष की सबसे मजबूत आवाज रहीं।
उनका कार्यकाल उपलब्धियों, संघर्ष और विवादों का मिश्रण रहा, लेकिन जनसमर्थन ने उन्हें हमेशा एक कठोर, साहसी और प्रभावशाली नेता के रूप में स्थापित किया।

BNP Declares Seven-Day Mourning Program

Before the government's announcement, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) had declared seven days of national mourning.
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that during the mourning period:

Black flags will be flown at party offices

All leaders and activists will wear black badges

Prayer and Quran recitation programs will be organized

Condolence books will be available at Dhaka's Naya Paltan, Gulshan, and district offices

This step will give supporters an opportunity to pay tribute to Khaleda Zia and participate in her final farewell.

The End of the 'Iron Lady' of Politics

The 80-year-old Khaleda Zia breathed her last at around 6 AM at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.
The BNP confirmed her death on the social media platform X.
She had been hospitalized for the past 36 days.
She was admitted on November 23 due to a heart and lung infection.
She passed away after battling several health complications, including pneumonia.
