भीलवाड़ा। जिला कारागार में शनिवार देर रात एक ऐसी घटना सामने आई, जिसने पूरे जेल प्रशासन में हड़कंप मचा दिया। यहां वॉच टावर पर तैनात आरएसी के कांस्टेबल रामकिशोर मीणा का शव संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में मिला। उसके सीने पर गोली का घाव था, जबकि नजदीक में हथियार भी पड़ा मिला।

घटना शनिवार रात करीब 11 बजे सामने आई। जानकारी के अनुसार, रामकिशोर की ड्यूटी जेल परिसर में ओवरब्रिज के पास बने वॉच टावर पर थी। देर रात ड्यूटी बदलने के लिए दूसरा प्रहरी वहां पहुंचा तो कांस्टेबल खून से लथपथ पड़े मिले। प्रहरी ने तुरन्त अपने अधिकारियों को घटना की सूचना दी।

सूचना मिलते ही कोतवाली पुलिस, जेल अधिकारी और एफएसएल टीम मौके पर पहुंची। घटनास्थल का वैज्ञानिक तरीके से निरीक्षण किया गया। टावर पर खून के धब्बे मिले और दो राउंड फायर होने की पुष्टि भी हुई। पुलिस ने घटनास्थल से हथियार सील कर जब्त कर लिया। शव को महात्मा गांधी अस्पताल की मोर्चरी में रखवाया गया।

घटना से पूरे जेल प्रशासन में अफरा-तफरी मच गई। रात में ही एसपी धर्मेंद्र यादव, एएसपी पारस जैन और डीएसपी मनीष बडगुजर ने घटनास्थल पर पहुंचकर बारीकी से निरीक्षण किया। अधिकारियों ने आसपास के सीसीटीवी कैमरों, ड्यूटी रोस्टर और हथियार की बैलिस्टिक जांच के आदेश भी दिए।

पुलिस के अनुसार, मृतक कांस्टेबल रामकिशोर मीणा मूल रूप से हरमाड़ा का रहने वाला था। परिजनों को घटना की जानकारी देकर भीलवाड़ा बुलाया गया है। शुरुआती स्तर पर पुलिस आत्महत्या और किसी अन्य कारण—दोनों कोणों पर जांच कर रही है। हालांकि, कांस्टेबल की ड्यूटी के दौरान गोली चलना और पास में हथियार मिलना कई सवाल खड़े कर रहा है।

पुलिस इस बात की भी जांच कर रही है कि गोली खुद उसने चलाई या किसी अन्य व्यक्ति की भूमिका है। टावर के आसपास आने-जाने वाले स्टाफ से पूछताछ की जा रही है और फोन कॉल व ड्यूटी रिकॉर्ड भी खंगाले जा रहे हैं। एफएसएल रिपोर्ट और पोस्टमार्टम से मौत की सही वजह और दूरी का पता चल सकेगा।

जेल परिसर में इस प्रकार की घटना होना सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर भी सवाल उठाता है। पुलिस ने कहा कि मामले की निष्पक्ष जांच की जाएगी और तथ्य सामने आते ही उचित कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

Bhilwara. A shocking incident occurred late Saturday night at the district jail, causing a stir throughout the prison administration. RAC constable Ramkishore Meena, stationed at a watchtower, was found dead under suspicious circumstances. He had a gunshot wound to the chest, and a weapon was found nearby.

The incident came to light around 11 PM on Saturday night. According to reports, Ramkishore was on duty at a watchtower near the overbridge within the jail premises. When another guard arrived to relieve him of his duty late at night, the constable was found lying in a pool of blood. The guard immediately informed his superiors.

Upon receiving the information, the Kotwali police, jail officials, and an FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) team arrived at the scene. The crime scene was scientifically examined. Bloodstains were found on the tower, and it was confirmed that two shots had been fired. The police sealed and seized the weapon from the scene. The body was placed in the mortuary of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital.

The incident caused chaos throughout the jail administration. SP Dharmendra Yadav, ASP Paras Jain, and DSP Manish Badgujar arrived at the scene late at night and conducted a thorough inspection. The officers also ordered an examination of nearby CCTV cameras, duty rosters, and a ballistic analysis of the weapon.

According to the police, the deceased constable, Ramkishore Meena, was originally from Harmada. His family has been informed and called to Bhilwara. Initially, the police are investigating both suicide and other possible causes. However, the fact that a gunshot occurred during the constable's duty and a weapon was found nearby raises several questions.

The police are also investigating whether he shot himself or if another person was involved. Staff members who were in the vicinity of the tower are being questioned, and phone calls and duty records are being examined. The FSL report and post-mortem examination will help determine the exact cause and distance of the gunshot.

Such an incident within the jail premises also raises questions about the security arrangements. The police stated that a fair investigation will be conducted, and appropriate action will be taken as soon as the facts come to light.
