दिल्ली पुलिस की स्पेशल सेल को एक बड़ी सफलता मिली है। पुलिस ने दिल्ली-एनसीआर समेत कई राज्यों में सक्रिय एक अंतरराज्यीय नकली नोट गिरोह का भंडाफोड़ किया है। इस रैकेट का एक अहम सदस्य नौशाद आलम (22) बिहार के बेतिया जिले का रहने वाला है, जिसे विजय घाट बस स्टैंड के पास से रंगे हाथ पकड़ा गया।

आरोपी के पास से 4 लाख की नकली करेंसी बरामद
पुलिस ने आरोपी के पास से 4 लाख रुपये की नकली भारतीय करेंसी बरामद की है। डीसीपी ए.के. कौशिक के मुताबिक, पिछले चार महीनों से स्पेशल सेल की टीम इस नेटवर्क पर नजर रखे हुए थी। आरोपी नौशाद आलम ने पूछताछ में बताया कि वह पश्चिम बंगाल के मालदा निवासी एक व्यक्ति से 500 रुपये के नकली नोट 200 रुपये में खरीदता और 300 रुपये में बेचता था।

बांग्लादेश कनेक्शन और हथियारों की खरीद का शक
जांच में यह भी सामने आया है कि बांग्लादेश की सीमा से नकली नोटों की तस्करी का नेटवर्क बेहद संगठित है। इससे होने वाली कमाई का इस्तेमाल हथियार खरीदने में भी हो सकता है। पुलिस ने आरोपी के खिलाफ भारतीय दंड संहिता की धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज किया है। फिलहाल पुलिस इस रैकेट के अन्य सदस्यों की तलाश में जुटी हुई है।

आर्थिक तंगी में फंसा नौशाद आलम
बताया जा रहा है कि आरोपी नौशाद आलम अशिक्षित है और आर्थिक तंगी के चलते इस अपराध की दुनिया में कदम रखा। यह मामला नकली नोटों के कारोबार की खतरनाक सच्चाई को उजागर करता है, जिससे अर्थव्यवस्था को गहरा नुकसान हो सकता है।

Fake currency worth Rs 4 lakh recovered from the accused

Police have recovered fake Indian currency worth Rs 4 lakh from the accused. According to DCP A.K. Kaushik, the Special Cell team was keeping an eye on this network for the last four months. Accused Naushad Alam told during interrogation that he used to buy fake notes of Rs 500 from a person living in Malda, West Bengal for Rs 200 and sell them for Rs 300.

Suspicion of Bangladesh connection and purchase of weapons
The investigation has also revealed that the network of smuggling of fake notes from the Bangladesh border is very organized. The earnings from this can also be used to buy weapons. The police have registered a case against the accused under sections of the Indian Penal Code. At present, the police are searching for other members of this racket.
