त्योहार के समय आते ही ऑनलाइन ठगों का नेटवर्क फैलता जा रहा है। पुलिस की तमाम कोशिश के बाद भी ठगी के मामलों पर अंकुश नहीं लग पा रहा है।

इस बार बिहार के पश्चिमी चंपारण से ठगी का एक मामला सामने आया है, जहां नगर पंचायत चनपटिया की रहने वाली एक महिला से ऑनलाइन शापिंग के नाम पर 23,300 रुपये की ठगी कर ली गई है। महिला नगर पंचायत चनपटिया में वार्ड नंबर पांच निवासी व्यवसायी वेदप्रकाश कुमार की पत्नी पूजा कुमारी हैं।

अज्ञात मोबाइल नंबर से आया था कॉल

पीड़ित महिला का कहना है कि बीते सप्ताह शाम में एक अज्ञात मोबाइल नंबर से कॉल आया। कॉल करने वाले ने बताया कि मैं तुम्हारा भाई, लंदन से बात कर रहा हूं। तुम्हारे लिए कुछ सामान भेज रहा हूं। इसमें कुछ टैक्स देना है, जिसमें पैसे कम पड़ रहे हैं।

साइबर ठग ने महिला के वॉट्सएप पर कुछ साड़ियां और आभूषण के तस्वीर भी भेजे। पसंद कराने के बाद टैक्स के रूप में कम पड़ रहे 23,300 रुपये ऑनलाइन ले लिया। जब तय समय पर सामान नहीं पहुंचा तो महिला को शक होने लगा उसके बाद उस नंबर पर फोन की तो उधर से सायबर ठग गाली-गलौज करने लगा।

गहने बेच बिन बताए दी थी पैसे- महिला के पति

चनपटिया थाने में पीड़ित महिला ने आवेदन देकर न्याय की गुहार लगाई है। पीड़िता के पति वेदप्रकाश ने बताया कि उनकी पत्नी गहना बेचकर परिवार के लोगों को बिना बताए पैसे भेजी थी। वेदप्रकाश घोंघा चौक पर एक होटल चलाते है। थानाध्यक्ष मनीष कुमार ने बताया कि मामला संज्ञान में आया है। इसकी जांच की जा रही है।

The call came from an unknown mobile number

The victim woman says that last week in the evening she received a call from an unknown mobile number. The caller told that I am talking to your brother, London. I am sending some goods for you. Some tax has to be paid in this, due to which money is falling short.

The cyber thug also sent pictures of some sarees and jewelery on the woman's WhatsApp. After making the choice, Rs 23,300 which was falling short as tax was taken online. When the goods did not arrive on time, the woman started getting suspicious and when she called on that number, the cyber thug started abusing her.

Woman's husband gave money after selling jewelery without telling her

The victim woman has filed an application at Chanpatia police station, pleading for justice. The victim's husband Vedprakash told that his wife had sold the jewelery and sent the money to the family members without informing them. Vedprakash runs a hotel at Ghongha Chowk. Police Station Head Manish Kumar said that the matter has come to his notice. It is being verified.
