हनुमानगढ़ टाउन शहर के एक होटल में नाबालिग के साथ गैंगरेप का मामला सामने आने के बाद पुलिस अधीक्षक विकास सांगवान के निर्देश पर जंक्शन थाना पुलिस ने शुक्रवार को थाना क्षेत्र में संचालित होटल-कैफे और रेस्टोरेंट खंगाले। थाना प्रभारी सतपाल बिश्नोई के नेतृत्व में पुलिस टीम ने अनैतिक और गैरकानूनी गतिविधियों की आशंका के चलते शहर के कई होटलों, कैफे और रेस्टोरेंट की जांच की। 

पुलिस ने इस दौरान थाना स्तर पर एसपी के निर्देश पर कई टीमों का गठन किया। सभी टीमों ने होटल, रेस्टोरेंट और कैफे पर दबिश देकर 8 युवकों को हिरासत में लिया। सभी युवकों को पुलिस ने शांतिभंग में गिरफ्तार किया। जंक्शन सिटी थानाधिकारी सतपाल बिश्नोई ने बताया कि होटलों, कैफे और रेस्टोरेंट को चेक करके रजिस्टरों को भी खंगाला गया है।

सतपाल बिश्नोई ने बताया कि बीकानेर रेंज के पुलिस महानिरीक्षक और हनुमानगढ़ पुलिस अधीक्षक के निर्देशानुसार आगामी लोकसभा चुनावों को लेकर शुक्रवार को होटल, ढाबे, कैफे और रेस्टोरेंट की जांच की गई। लाइसेंस की जांच की गई। थाना प्रभारी के अनुसार बार-बार शिकायतें मिल रही थी कि शहर में संचालित होटलों, कैफे और रेस्टोरेंटों पर गैर कानूनी कार्य होते हैं।

जांच में इस तरह की बात सामने नहीं आई। भविष्य में भी समय-समय पर अभियान चलाकर होटलों, कैफे और रेस्टोरेंट की जांच की जाएगी। वहीं बिश्नोई ने बताया कि कैफे, होटल और रेस्टोरेंट से 8 युवकों को शांतिभंग के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है।

शिकायत के आधार पर चेकिंग की गई है जो आगे भी जारी रहेगी। सतपाल बिश्नोई ने कहा कि किसी भी प्रकार की शिकायत और सूचना हो तो वो सीधे मेरे मोबाइल नम्बर, कंट्रोल रूम नम्बर या थाना के बेसिक नम्बर पर कर सकता है।

Satpal Bishnoi said that as per the instructions of Bikaner Range Inspector General of Police and Hanumangarh Superintendent of Police, hotels, dhabas, cafes and restaurants were inspected on Friday regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. No such thing came to light in the investigation. In future also, hotels, cafes and restaurants will be inspected by conducting campaigns from time to time. Bishnoi said that 8 youths have been arrested from cafes, hotels and restaurants on charges of disturbing peace.
