विदेशी टूरिस्टों को ठगने वाली गैंग का पर्दाफाश, फर्जी पुलिस बनकर 31 लाख रुपये का लगा चुके थे चूना 

राजस्थान पर्यटन के लिए पूरे देश में मशहूर हैं. यहां की गौरवशाली परंपराओं और वैभवशाली रियासतों-रजवाड़ों को देखने के लिए देश-विदेश से सैलानी पहुंचते हैं. राज्य में पर्यटन एक बड़ा उद्योग है. लेकिन इस उद्योग में कई ऐसे लोग भी शामिल है, जो दूसरे देशों की सैलानियों को ठगने का काम करते हैं. जयपुर पुलिस ने शुक्रवार को एक ऐसे गिरोह का पर्दाफाश किया है. गिरोह ने इस काम को डब्बेबाजी का नाम दे रखा था. इस गिरोह में शामिल लोग जापानी भाषा के जानकार हैं. इसलिए यह जापान से आने वाले टूरिस्ट को निशाना बनाते थे. पुलिस ने इस गिरोह के तीन सदस्यों को गिरफ्तार किया है.

पर्यटक को ऐसे डराकर लूटा 
पुलिस ने बताया कि पकड़ में आए बदमाशों ने 2022 में जापानी टूरिस्ट के साथ ठगी की थी. बदमाशों ने 2 दिसंबर 2022 को जापान से जयपुर घूमने आए एक टूरिस्ट सासो ताकेशी के साथ ठगी की थी. आरोपियों ने पहले पर्यटक का विश्वास जीता फिर उसे असगर खान के गांव ले गए. आरोपियों ने वहां पर्यटक को फर्जी पुलिस वाले भेज कर ड्रग्स के केस में फंसाने की धमकी दी. पुलिस से पर्यटक डर गया और बचने के लिए उसने अपने पास मौजूद सारी नकदी दे दी. 

आरोपियों को इतने से संतुष्टि नहीं हुई और उन्होंने क्रेडिट कार्ड से सोना खरीदवाया. पर्यटक ने जयपुर आकर 26 लाख 50 हजार का सोना खरीद और गैंग को दे दिया. उसके बाद वह जापान लौट गया. वहां जाकर भी उसने गैंग के सदस्यों को मदद और सुरक्षा के लिए ऑनलाइन पैसे भेजे. आरोपियों ने पर्यटक से करीब 31 लाख रुपए की ठगी की.

ईमेल से शिकायत, ऑनलाइन ही पीड़ित से बातचीत
पीड़ित सासो ताकेशी को बाद में एहसास हुआ कि वह ठगी का शिकार हुआ है. फिर उसने जापान की एंबेसी से संपर्क किया. जापान एंबेसी ने पुलिस को जानकारी दी, इसके बाद पुलिस ने ऑनलाइन ही पीड़ित से इनपुट लिए और कार्रवाई की. ईमेल से शिकायत और पीड़ित से जानकारी जुटाकर कार्रवाई का यह अनूठा मामला है. कमिश्नर बीजू जॉर्ज जोसेफ ने कहा कि, “हम पर्यटकों को विश्वास दिलाना चाहते हैं कि हम उनकी सुरक्षा के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं. इसलिए ऑनलाइन भी जानकारी जुटाकर हमने यह कार्रवाई की है. कई पर्यटक लौटने के बाद शिकायत दर्ज नहीं करा पाते, ऐसे में इन गैंग का हौसला बढ़ता है. हम इसे खत्म करना चाहते हैं.”

इन आरोपियों की हुई गिरफ्तारी
पुलिस कमिश्नर बीजू जॉर्ज जोसेफ ने बताया- विदेशी पर्यटक से रुपए वसूली के मामले में आरोपी असगर खान (55) निवासी रामगढ़ सेठान सीकर हाल संजय नगर-डी झोटवाड़ा (जयपुर), शरीफ बैक (41) निवासी हसनपुरा सदर (जयपुर), कयूम (42) निवासी धानका बस्ती यादव चौक हसनपुरा सदर (जयपुर) को गिरफ्तार किया है. मामले में फरार उनके दो साथियों की तलाश की जा रही है.

But there are many people involved in this industry who work to cheat tourists from other countries. Jaipur Police has exposed one such gang on Friday. The gang had named this work as box-carrying. The people involved in this gang are knowledgeable in Japanese language. That's why they used to target tourists coming from Japan. Police have arrested three members of this gang.

Robbed a tourist by scaring him like this
Police said that the caught miscreants had cheated a Japanese tourist in 2022. On December 2, 2022, the miscreants had defrauded Saso Takeshi, a tourist who had come to visit Jaipur from Japan. The accused first won the trust of the tourist and then took him to Asghar Khan's village. The accused threatened the tourist there by sending fake policemen and implicating him in a drugs case. The tourist got scared of the police and to escape he gave away all the cash he had.

The accused were not satisfied with this and bought the gold through credit cards. The tourist came to Jaipur and bought gold worth Rs 26 lakh 50 thousand and gave it to the gang. After that he returned to Japan. Even after going there, he sent money online to the gang members for help and protection. The accused cheated the tourist of about Rs 31 lakh.

Complain through email, talk to victim online
The victim Saso Takeshi later realized that he had been a victim of fraud. Then he contacted the Embassy of Japan. Japan Embassy informed the police, after which the police took inputs from the victim online and took action. This is a unique case of taking action by complaining through email and collecting information from the victim. Commissioner Biju George Joseph said, “We want to assure the tourists that we are committed to their safety. Therefore, we have taken this action by collecting information online also. Many tourists are unable to lodge complaints after returning, in such a situation the morale of these gangs increases. We want to end it.”

These accused were arrested
Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said - In the case of recovery of money from a foreign tourist, the accused Asgar Khan (55), resident of Ramgarh Sethan Sikar Hall, Sanjay Nagar-D Jhotwara (Jaipur), Sharif Back (41), resident of Hasanpura Sadar (Jaipur), Kayum ( 42) Resident of Dhanka Basti Yadav Chowk Hasanpura Sadar (Jaipur) has been arrested. Search is on for his two absconding associates in the case.
