भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए अपनी पहली लिस्ट में 195 उम्मीदवारों की घोषणा कर दी है. इनमें मध्य प्रदेश की 29 में से 24 सीटों पर प्रत्याशियों का ऐलान हो गया है. एमपी में इस बार सबसे ज्यादा चर्चा पूर्व सीएम शिवराज सिंह चौहान (Shivraj Singh Chauhan) के नाम पर थी कि उन्हें कहां से चुनाव लड़ाया जाएगा. लिस्ट आने के बाद फाइनल हो गया कि शिवराज अपनी पुरानी सीट से ही चुनावी मैदान में उतरेंगे, जिससे वो पहले भी 5 बार चुनाव जीतकर संसद जा चुके हैं.  

बीजेपी ने शिवराज सिंह चौहान को विदिशा सीट (Vidisha Seat) पर उतारा है. एमपी की यह सीट बीजेपी-जनसंघ का गढ़ मानी जाती रही है. इस सीट पर पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी (Atal Bihari Vajpayee) और पूर्व विदेश मंत्री सुषमा स्वराज (Sushma Swaraj) जैसे दिग्गज नेता जीत हासिल कर चुके हैं. खुद शिवराज सिंह चौहान विदिशा सीट से पांच बार चुनाव जीत चुके हैं. 

टिकट मिलने पर क्या बोले शिवराज सिंह?  
शिवराज सिंह ने अपने नाम का ऐलान होते ही कहा कि मध्य प्रदेश की जनता के दिल में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी रहते हैं. बीजेपी राज्य की सभी 29 सीटें जीतेगी. हम सब मिलजुलकर चुनाव लड़ेंगे. उन्होंने पीएम मोदी के नारे को दोहराते हुए कहा कि फिर एक बार मोदी सरकार, अबकी बार 400 पार. उन्होंने कहा कि सीएम मोहन यादव और प्रदेश अध्यक्ष वीडी शर्मा के साथ चुनाव में जीत को लेकर चर्चा हुई है. पार्टी कार्यकर्ता की तरह मैं पूरी शक्ति के साथ चुनाव लडूंगा. 

विदिशा से अटल बिहारी ने भी लड़ा था चुनाव 
शिवराज सिंह चौहान 1991 से लगातार विदिशा सीट से चुनाव जीत रहे थे. उसके बाद जब 2005 में वह राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री बने, उसके बाद उन्होंने बुधनी से विधानसभा चुनाव लड़ा. बुधनी विधानसभा क्षेत्र भी विदिशा लोकसभा क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत आता है. इस सीट पर अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी (1991), सुषमा स्वराज (2009 और 2014) में जीत हासिल की थी. वहीं पत्रकार रामनाथ गोयनका ने भी 1971 में चुनाव लड़ा था और जीत हासिल की थी.  

किन सीटों पर प्रत्याशियों का नहीं हुआ ऐलान 
बीजेपी ने 29 में से 24 सीटों पर प्रत्याशियों का ऐलान किया है. इसके अलावा उज्जैन, इंदौर, छिंदवाड़ा, धार और बालाघाट सीटों को होल्ड पर रखा गया है. बता दें कि मुख्यमंत्री मोहन यादव का गृह जिला उज्जैन है. यह सीट एमपी की सबसे वीवीआईपी सीट रही है. वहीं छिंदवाड़ा पूर्व सीएम और कांग्रेस नेता कमलनाथ का गढ़ रहा है और 2014-19 में मोदी लहर के बावजूद कमलनाथ के बेटे नकुलनाथ ने इस सीट पर जीत हासिल की थी. 

2019 में 28 सीटों पर बीजेपी को मिली थी जीत 
मध्य प्रदेश में भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने 2019 के चुनावों में कांग्रेस को बुरी तरह हराया था. जहां बीजेपी को 29 में 28 सीटों पर जीत मिली थी, वहीं दूसरी ओर कांग्रेस को सिर्फ एक ही सीट मिली थी. कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी नकुलनाथ ने छिंदवाड़ा सीट पर जीत हासिल की थी. इससे पहले 2014 के चुनाव में कांग्रेस सिर्फ दो ही सीट हासिल कर पाई थी, जिनमें गुना से ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया और छिंदवाड़ा से नकुलनाथ शामिल थे.

From Atal Bihari to Sushma Swaraj... many stalwarts of BJP have won from this seat of MP, now the bet is on Shivraj.

Bharatiya Janata Party has announced 195 candidates in its first list for the Lok Sabha elections. Among these, candidates have been announced for 24 out of 29 seats in Madhya Pradesh. This time in MP, the biggest discussion was on the name of former CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan and from where he will contest the elections. After the list came, it was finalized that Shivraj will contest from his old seat, from which he has already gone to Parliament after winning the elections 5 times.

BJP has fielded Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Vidisha seat. This seat of MP has been considered the stronghold of BJP-Jana Sangh. Veteran leaders like former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj have won this seat. Shivraj Singh Chauhan himself has won the election from Vidisha seat five times.

What did Shivraj Singh say after getting the ticket?
As soon as his name was announced, Shivraj Singh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi lives in the hearts of the people of Madhya Pradesh. BJP will win all 29 seats in the state. We will all fight the elections together. Reiterating PM Modi's slogan, he said that once again Modi government, this time it will cross 400. He said that there was a discussion with CM Mohan Yadav and State President VD Sharma regarding victory in the elections. Like a party worker, I will contest the elections with full strength.

Atal Bihari also contested elections from Vidisha
Shivraj Singh Chauhan was winning elections from Vidisha seat continuously since 1991. After that, when he became the Chief Minister of the state in 2005, he contested the assembly elections from Budhni. Budhni assembly constituency also comes under Vidisha Lok Sabha constituency. Atal Bihari Vajpayee (1991), Sushma Swaraj (2009 and 2014) had won this seat. Journalist Ramnath Goenka also contested the elections in 1971 and won.

On which seats candidates were not announced?
BJP has announced candidates for 24 out of 29 seats. Apart from this, Ujjain, Indore, Chhindwara, Dhar and Balaghat seats have been put on hold. Let us tell you that Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's home district is Ujjain. This seat has been the most VVIP seat of MP. Chhindwara has been the stronghold of former CM and Congress leader Kamal Nath and despite the Modi wave in 2014-19, Kamal Nath's son Nakul Nath had won this seat.

BJP had won 28 seats in 2019.
In Madhya Pradesh, Bharatiya Janata Party had defeated Congress badly in the 2019 elections. While BJP had won 28 out of 29 seats, Congress, on the other hand, had won only one seat. Congress candidate Nakul Nath had won the Chhindwara seat. Earlier in the 2014 elections, Congress was able to win only two seats, which included Jyotiraditya Scindia from Guna and Nakul Nath from Chhindwara.
