विधानसभा चुनाव को लेकर बीजेपी ने अपने 79 सीटों पर उम्‍मीदवार घोषित कर दिए हैं। दूसरी लिस्‍ट में बीजेपी ने अपने दिग्‍गज नेताओं को मैदान में उतारा है। जिनमें तीन केंद्रीय मंत्री और चार सांसद और बीजेपी राष्‍ट्रीय महासचिव को प्रत्‍याशी बनाया है। जबलपुर पश्चिम सीट से चार बार के सांसद राकेश सिंह को प्रत्‍याशी बनाया गया है। जबलपुर की जनता की बीजेपी उम्‍मीदवार राकेश सिंह को लेकर क्‍या राय है आइए जानते हैं।

बीजेपी ने दूसरी लिस्ट में जबलपुर पश्चिम से इस बार सांसद राकेश सिंह को अपना उम्मीदवार बनाया है। जबलपुर लोकसभा से 4 बार जीत चुके राकेश सिंह वर्तमान में लोकसभा के मुख्य सचेतक भी हैं। बीजेपी ने विधानसभा चुनाव में राकेश सिंह को जबलपुर पश्चिम विधानसभा से प्रत्‍याशी बनाया है। इसके पीछे पार्टी की सोची समझी रणनीति बताई जा रही है। राकेश सिंह को जिस विधान सभा का उम्मीदवार बनाया गया है, उस विधानसभा से वर्तमान विधायक कांग्रेस के तरुण भनोट है।

तरुण भनोट पिछले दो बार से इस विधानसभा से जीतते आ रहे है। 2018 के विधानसभा चुनाव में एमपी में जब कांग्रेस की सरकार बनी थी, उस वक्त भनोट को प्रदेश का वित्त मंत्री बनाया गया था। हालांकि 15 महीने तक रही कांग्रेस की सरकार के कई विधायक ज्योदित्यराज सिंधिया के साथ बीजेपी में शामिल हो गए और प्रदेश में शिवराज सिंह चौहान के नेतृत्व में दोबारा बीजेपी की सरकार बनी।

2023 के विधानसभा चुनाव में बीजेपी की स्तिथि काफी नाजुक बताई जा रही है यही वजह है की इस बार विधानसभा में प्रदेश में कई सांसदों और केंद्रीय मंत्रियों को चुनावी मैदान में उनकी योग्यता परखने के लिए उतारा गया है। जबलपुर पश्चिम विधानसभा से राकेश सिंह को बीजेपी का उम्मीदवार बनाये जाने के बाद कई दावेदारों का जोश ठंडा हो गया है।

पश्चिम विधानसभा में कई उम्मीदवार अपनी उम्मीदवारी को लेकर दावे कर रहे थे अब उनके हौंसले पस्त हो गए है। अगर बात पश्चिम विधानसभा की जनता की करें तो उन्हें ये भी नहीं पता कि राकेश सिंह कौन है।
