खरताराम जाट पिछले 11 माह से गायब है। यह घटना 4 मई 2023 की रात को हुई है। जब पति खरताराम और उसकी पत्नी दोनों ही घर पर थे। मौके पर खून से सने हुए कपड़े और कुल्हाड़ी भी मिली थी। इसके अलावा आंगन में गिरा हुआ खून भी मिला था।

इस घटनाक्रम के बाद खरताराम गायब है। घटना के बाद पत्नी पीहर चली गई और बताया कि खरताराम मजदूरी पर गया है। जबकि 11 माह भी यह केस पुलिस जांच में अनसुलझी पहेली बना हुआ है। सवाल ये है कि खरताराम के मामले में पुलिस की जाचं इतनी धीमी क्यों है?

सादुलानियों का तला सनावड़ा निवासी देवाराम पुत्र पूरणाराम जाट ने 12 मई 2023 को सदर थाने में रिपोर्ट दर्ज करवाई थी कि उसका 24 वर्षीय पुत्र खरताराम 4 व 5 मई 2023 की रात से गायब है। 5 मई की सुबह पत्नी चनणी ने क​हा कि उसका पति मजदूरी पर निकल गया है और वो पीहर जा रही है। आंगन में खून मिला। पत्नी ने सुबह जल्दी घर के आंगन से खून से सनी हुई रेत को बाहर डाल रखा था।
एक कुल्हाड़ी भी खून से सनी हुई मिली। इसके अलावा एक झोंपे में कपड़े और बिस्तर पर भी खून मिला। परिजनों ने गेनाराम पुत्र हनुमानराम सियाग निवासी सरली, खरताराम की पत्नी चनणी देवी, व भाई जोगाराम पर षड़यंत्र के तहत मारपीट कर हत्या करने का आरोप लगाया। पूरे मामले में पत्नी की मौजूदगी में घटनाक्रम होने का शक है। सदर थाने में नामजद मामले के बावजूद भी अब तक खुलासा नहीं हुआ है।

खून से सनी रेत की पोटली लेकर न्याय के लिए भटक रहा पिता
खरताराम गायब है या उसकी हत्या कर दी गई, लेकिन पिता इस घटना के बाद सदमे में है। माता के भी रो-रो कर बुरे हाल है। इसके अलावा एक भाई ठाकराराम है, उसका भी काम-धंधा छूट गया है। गरीब परिवार के रोजी-रोटी का संकट है। बाड़मेर एसपी, सदर थाना और नेताओं के पास लगातार चक्कर काटने के बाद भी पीड़ित परिवार को न्याय नहीं मिला है। घटना के दिन आंगन में मिले खून से सनी हुई रेत की एक पोटली लेकर पिता देवाराम दर-दर भटकने को मजबूर है।

11 महीने में खून किसका ये भी पुष्टि नहीं कर पाई सदर पुलिस
खरताराम के मामले की जांच में सदर थाना पुलिस की लापरवाही सामने आई है। अब तक की जांच में पुलिस यह भी तय नहीं कर पाई कि मौके से मिला खून खरताराम का था या नहीं। घटना के समय सिर्फ पति और पत्नी दोनों ही थे तो मौके पर मिला खून किसका था? मौके पर खून से सनी कुल्हाड़ी और कपड़े भी मिले थे।
आंगन से खून को कचरे के साथ पत्नी ने बाहर खेत में क्यों डाला था। इतना खून बहने के बाद कोई मजदूरी पर कैसे जा सकता है, जबकि सुबह के 6 बजे तो वहां से कोई बस भी नहीं है। पुलिस ने मौके से मिले खून की एफएसएल जांच के बाद डीएनए जांच क्यों नहीं करवाई? एफएसएल जांच में खून मानव रक्त होना पाया गया है।

Devaram son of Purnaram Jat, resident of Sadulanis Ka Tala Sanawada, had lodged a report in the Sadar police station on 12 May 2023 that his 24 year old son Khartaram was missing since the night of 4 and 5 May 2023. On the morning of 5th May, wife Chanani said that her husband had left for work and she was going to Pehar. Blood was found in the courtyard. The wife had thrown out the blood-stained sand from the courtyard of the house early in the morning.
An ax was also found stained with blood. Apart from this, blood was also found on clothes and bedding in a hut. The family members accused Genaram, son of Hanumanram, Siyag resident of Sarli, Khartaram's wife Chanani Devi, and brother Jogaram of assault and murder as part of a conspiracy. There is suspicion that the entire incident took place in the presence of the wife. Despite the case being registered in Sadar police station, the matter has not been revealed yet.

Khataram is missing or murdered, but the father is in shock after this incident. Mother is also in bad condition and crying. Apart from this, there is a brother Thakraram, he has also lost his business. There is a crisis of livelihood of poor families. Despite repeated appeals to Barmer SP, Sadar police station and leaders, the victim's family has not got justice. On the day of the incident, father Devaram is forced to wander from door to door carrying a bundle of blood stained sand found in the courtyard.

Sadar Police could not even confirm whose murder in 11 months
Negligence of Sadar police station has come to light in the investigation of Khataram's case. In the investigation so far, the police could not even decide whether the blood found at the spot was that of Khataram or not. At the time of the incident, there were only husband and wife, so whose blood was found on the spot? A blood stained ax and clothes were also found on the spot.
Why did the wife throw the blood from the courtyard along with the garbage in the field? How can one go to work after so much blood loss, when there is not even a bus from there at 6 in the morning. Why did the police not get DNA testing done after FSL testing of the blood found at the spot? FSL test found the blood to be human blood.
