लोकसभा चुनाव के दूसरे चरण के बाद बाड़मेर-जैसलमेर लोकसभा सीट से निर्दलीय प्रत्याशी रविंद्र सिंह भाटी ने अपने सर्मथकों के साथ बालोतरा जिले में एसपी कार्यालय के बाहर धरना दिया। भाटी ने 26 अप्रैल को वोटिंग के दिन उनके वोटरों को परेशान करने का आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने कहा कि किसी जगह उनके बूथ एजेंट को बाहर निकाला गया तो कहीं पर वोट देने से रोका गया।

कहीं पर उनके समर्थकों को जबरदस्ती पीटकर उनपर झूठे मुकदमे दर्ज किए गए। पुलिस प्रशासन ने वोटिंग के दिन बेवजह उनके समर्थकों के 400 से ज्यादा वाहन अनलीगल तरीके से सीज किए। इसी के चलते भाटी धरने पर बैठे और निर्दोष लोगों को छोड़ने और पुलिस को फर्जी मुकदमा वापस लेने की अपील की।

पुलिस के आश्वासन के बाद धरना खत्म
रविंद्र सिंह भाटी करीब 4 घंटे तक बालोतरा में एसपी कार्यालय के बाहर धरने पर बैठे रहे। उनकी एसपी से दो दौर की वार्ता हुई और पुलिस के आश्वासन के बाद धरना समाप्त किया गया। पुलिस ने भाटी को आश्वस्त किया कि आप सभी की गाड़ियां छोड़ दी जाएगी, गिरफ्तार लोगों को छोड़ देंगे और वहीं जल्द से जल्द चालान पेश किया जाएगा। इसके बाद भाटी ने अपने समर्थकों को आश्वस्त किया और समझाइश के बाद ही धरना समाप्त किया।

विरोधियों पर लगाए आरोप
भाटी ने अपने समर्थकों को संबोधित करते हुए कांग्रेस नेता हरीश चौधरी और का प्रत्याशी उम्मेदाराम बेनीवाल पर कई तरह के आरोप लगाए। उन्होंने कहा कि चुनाव में जो कुछ हमारे लोगों के साथ हुआ, हो गया। अब अगर किसी ने मुझे छेड़ने की कोशिश की तो छोड़ूंगा नहीं। इस दौरान समर्थकों ने भाटी की सुरक्षा के लिए भी कहा। जवाब में भाटी ने कहा कि मेरी सुरक्षा डोकरी (देवी मां) करेगी।

समर्थकों से भाईचारा बनाने की अपील की
भाटी ने अपने भाषण में कहा कि चुनाव में नेताओं पर आरोप प्रत्यारोप का दौर चलता रहता है। लेकिन अब चुनाव निपट गया , तो वो चीजें आगे नहीं होने चाहिए। हमें किसी को कुछ बोलकर आहत नहीं करना है। इस चुनाव को कुछ नेताओं ने जातिवाद आधारित बनाया था, लेकिन 36 कौम ने मेरा साथ दिया। अब मैं निवेदन करता हूं कि चुनाव में कोई भाई मेरे साथ रहा या नहीं। उसको भी हमें साथ लेकर चलना है। हमारा भाईचारा खराब ना हो इसलिए आप सभी का धन्यावाद ज्ञापित करता हूं। 4 जून को चुनाव जीतने के बाद मैं आप सभी को धन्यवाद देने आऊंगा।

भाटी पर उम्मेदाराम का पलटवार
भाटी का धरना खत्म होने के बाद कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी उम्मेदाराम ने निर्दलीय प्रत्याशी पर कई आरोप लगाए। बेनीवाल ने कहा कि आज माहौल खराब करने वाले ही धरना प्रर्दशन कर रहे हैं। अगर अपने सर्मथकों से भाईचारे की अपील की होती तो इस तरह की अप्रिय घटनाएं ना होती। कई इलाकों में वोट प्रतिशत बढ़ाने के नाम पर फर्जी मदतान किया गया है। बाहरी इलाकों से लोगों को लाकर माहौल खराब करने की कोशिश की गई है।

भाटी को मिली जान से मारने की धमकी
सोशल मीडिया पर गैंगस्टर रोहित गौदारा की आईडी से रविंद्र सिंह भाटी को जान से मारने की धमकी पर उमेदाराम बेनीवाल ने कहा कि सनकी लोग जो धमकी दे रहे हैं। अगर जनप्रतिनिधि ही सुरक्षित नहीं हैं तो कौन सुरक्षित रहेगा। ऐसे में पुलिस को ऐसे लोगों पर जल्द ही कार्रवाई करनी चाहिए।

The protest ended after police assurance.
Ravindra Singh Bhati sat on strike outside the SP office in Balotra for about 4 hours. He had two rounds of talks with the SP and the protest was ended after assurance from the police. The police assured Bhati that all your vehicles would be released, the arrested people would be released and the challan would be issued as soon as possible. After this, Bhati reassured his supporters and ended the protest only after consultation.

Accusations made against opponents
While addressing his supporters, Bhati made several allegations against Congress leader Harish Chaudhary and Congress candidate Umedaram Beniwal. He said that whatever happened to our people in the elections, happened. Now if someone tries to tease me, I will not leave you. During this, the supporters also asked for the safety of Bhati. In response, Bhati said that Dokri (Mother Goddess) would protect me.

Appealed to supporters to create brotherhood
Bhati said in his speech that there is a cycle of allegations and counter-allegations against leaders in elections. But now that the elections are over, those things should not happen further. We don't have to hurt anyone by saying anything. This election was made caste based by some leaders, but 36 communities supported me. Now I request whether any brother remained with me in the election or not. We have to take him along too. I thank you all so that our brotherhood does not get spoiled. After winning the elections on June 4, I will come to thank all of you.

Umedaram's counterattack on Bhati
After Bhati's dharna ended, Congress candidate Umedaram made several allegations against the independent candidate. Beniwal said that today only those who are spoiling the atmosphere are protesting. If he had appealed to his supporters for brotherhood, such unpleasant incidents would not have happened. In many areas, fake donations have been made in the name of increasing the vote percentage. An attempt has been made to spoil the atmosphere by bringing people from outside areas.

Bhati received death threats
On the threat to kill Ravindra Singh Bhati using the ID of gangster Rohit Gowdara on social media, Umedaram Beniwal said that the threats are being made by crazy people. If the public representatives are not safe then who will be safe? In such a situation, the police should take action against such people soon.
