मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार उत्तर प्रदेश की एक महिला जज ने छह महीने पहले अपनी पिछली पोस्टिंग में अपने सीनियर पर यौन उत्पीड़न का आरोप लगाते हुए, भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश को एक खुला पत्र लिखा है।

इस पत्र में उसने अपना जीवन समाप्त करने की अनुमति मांगी है और कहा है कि उन्हें निष्पक्ष जांच मिलने की कोई उम्मीद नहीं है, न्याय तो दूर की बात है। यह बात तब उस दिन सामने आई जब महिला जज का CJI को लिखा पत्र सामने आया। महिला जज ने CJI से बाराबंकी में अपनी पोस्टिंग के दौरान खुद के साथ हुए दुर्व्यवहार और उत्पीड़न के बाद अपना जीवन समाप्त करने की अनुमति मांगी है।

उत्तर प्रदेश की महिला जज ने चीफ जस्टिस ऑफ इंडिया माननीय न्यायमूर्ति डॉ. धनंजय वाई चंद्रचूड़ को एक खुला पत्र लिखा है। लगभग दो पन्नों के इस पात्र में महिला ने लिखा है कि " मैं बहुत उत्साह और विश्वास के साथ न्यायिक सेवा में शामिल हुई कि मैं आम लोगों को न्याय दिलाऊंगी। मुझे क्या पता था कि मैं जिस भी दरवाजे पर जाऊंगी, जल्द ही मुझे खुद ही न्याय की भीख मांगनी पड़ेगी। "

महिला जज ने बताया कि उनके अब तक के कार्यकाल में कई बार उन्हें अपने सीनियर के यौन उत्पीड़न का शिकार होना पड़ा है और अब वो इतनी परेशान हो चुकी हैं कि अपना जीवन समाप्त करना चाहती हैं। महिला ने पत्र में लिखा है कि “मेरा यौन उत्पीड़न हद दर्जे तक किया गया है। मेरे साथ बिल्कुल कूड़े जैसा व्यवहार किया गया है।' उनका ये पत्र सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो गया है।
