देश में एक बार फिर कोरोना अपने पैर पसार रहा है। भारत के विभिन्न राज्यों में कोरोना केसों में उछाल देखने को मिला है। कोविड-19 संक्रमण के नए वेरिएंट जेएन-1 की केरल में पुष्टि के बाद सरकार देशभर में अलर्ट मोड पर है। पिछले 24 घंटे में देश में कोरोना के 335 नए मामले दर्ज किए गए हैं। वहीं, यूपी और केरल में कोरोना से पांच लोगों की मौत हुई है। उधर, डब्ल्यूएचो भारत समेत कई देशों में कोरोना के बढ़ते मामलों से चिंता में है। उसने एडवाइजरी जारी करते हुए देशों से कोरोना प्रोटोकॉल का पालन करने की सलाह दी है।

देश में कोरोना के मामले फिर से बढ़ने शुरू हो गए हैं। हाल ही में केरल में कोरोना के सबसे नए वेरिएंट जेएन-1 की पुष्टि हुई थी। जिसके बाद केरल सरकार ने राज्य भर में स्वास्थ्य को लेकर अलर्ट जारी किया था। केंद्र सरकार भी कोरोना केसों में उछाल से चिंतित है। केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने अपडेट किया है कि पिछले 24 घंटे में कोरोना के 335 नए केस आए हैं। इससे एक्टिव मरीजों की संख्या बढ़कर 1,701 हो गई है।

कोरोना से पांच मौत पर हड़कंप
देश में पिछले 24 घंटे में सिर्फ कोरोना केसों ने ही चिंता नहीं बढ़ाई है। कोरोना के कारण पिछले 24 घंटे में पांच लोगों की मौत भी हुई है। केरल में चार जबकि यूपी में एक मौत की सूचना है। कोविड-19 से 5,33,316 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है कोरोना के कारण देश में मृत्यु दर 1.19 प्रतिशत है। वहीं, संक्रमण से उबरने वाले लोगों की संख्या बढ़कर 4.46 करोड़ (4,44,69,799) है। स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय रिकवरी दर 98.81 प्रतिशत आंकी गई है।

केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय की वेबसाइट के मुताबिक, देश में अब तक कोविड-19 वैक्सीन की 220.67 करोड़ खुराकें दी जा चुकी हैं।

डब्ल्य़ूएचओ का अलर्ट
विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) ने कई देशों में कोरोना के बढ़ते मामलों पर चिंता जताई है। संगठन ने सभी प्रभावित देशों से कड़ी निगरानी रखने और लगातार टेस्टिंग जारी रखने का अनुरोध किया है। डब्ल्यूएचओ ने वैश्विक स्वास्थ्य निकाय की कोविड-19 तकनीकी प्रमुख डॉ. मारिया वान केरखोव का एक वीडियो भी जारी किया। जिन्होंने कोरोना मामलों में वृद्धि के पीछे के कारणों को समझाया और बरती जाने वाली सावधानियों के बारे में भी बात की।

नए वेरिएंट ने दे दी है दस्तक
कोरोना के बढ़ते मामलों ने वैश्विक चिंता तब बढ़ाई जब सिंगापुर में कोरोना के सबसे नए वेरिएंट जेएन-1 की पुष्टि हुई। विशेषज्ञों के मुताबिक, यह कोरोना का सबसे जटिल और खतरनाक वेरिएंट है। यह तेजी से फैलता है। हालांकि अभी इस बात की पुष्टि नहीं हो पाई है कि क्या इससे मौत का आंकड़ा भी बढ़ सकता है। लेकिन, ताजा घटनाक्रमों के मुताबिक, इस नए वेरिएंट ने अमेरिका और चीन समेत कई देशों में भी लोगों को तेजी से संक्रमित किया है। 

केरल में भी हाल ही में इस वेरिएंट की पुष्टि हुई थी। भारतीय चिकित्सा अनुसंधान परिषद (आईसीएमआर) के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने कहा, केरल की एक 79 वर्षीय महिला में इस नए वेरिएंट का पता लगा है। हालांकि यह मामला 8 दिसंबर का है और महिला पूरी तरह से स्वस्थ है। रविवार को, केरल की स्वास्थ्य मंत्री वीना जॉर्ज ने कहा कि राज्य में पाया गया कोविड-19 उप-संस्करण जेएन.1 चिंता का कारण नहीं है।

सिंगापुर में मास्क की सलाह जारी
सिंगापुर ने कोविड-19 मामलों में वृद्धि के बीच लोगों को भीड़-भाड़ वाली जगहों पर फेस मास्क पहनने के निर्देश दिए हैं। सरकार का यह फैसला 3 से 9 दिसंबर के बीच कोविड-19 मामलों की अनुमानित संख्या बढ़कर 56,043 होने के बाद आया है। जो पिछले सप्ताह के 32,035 मामलों की तुलना में 75 प्रतिशत अधिक है। स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय (एमओएच) ने एडवाइजरी जारी करते हुए कहा कि औसततन कोरोना से अस्पताल में भर्ती होने वालों की संख्या 225 से बढ़कर 350 हो गई है। अधिकांश मामले JN.1 वैरिएंट से संक्रमित के हैं।

This variant was also recently confirmed in Kerala. A senior official of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said, this new variant has been detected in a 79-year-old woman from Kerala. However, this incident happened on December 8 and the woman is completely healthy. On Sunday, Kerala Health Minister Veena George said the COVID-19 sub-variant JN.1 found in the state is not a cause for concern.
