संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका में एक पूर्व मिडिल स्कूल की 31 साल की शिक्षिका मेलिसा मैरी कर्टिस पर 2015 में मोंटगोमरी विलेज मिडिल स्कूल में शिक्षिका होने के दौरान एक छात्र के साथ यौन कृत्य में शामिल होने का आरोप है। जब वो 22 साल की थी तब उसने ये काम किया। 8 साल बाद पीड़ित जब एडल्ट हुआ तो उसने इस मामले में रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराई। जिसके बाद जांच शुरू हुआ।

मोंटगोमरी काउंटी पुलिस विभाग ने कहा, "पीड़ित का आरोप है कि जब वह नाबालिग था तब उसने अपर मार्लबोरो की 31 वर्षीय मेलिसा मैरी कर्टिस के साथ यौन संबंध बनाए थे। जनवरी और मई 2015 के बीच मेलिसा की कार और कई घरों में दोनों के बीच रिश्ते बनें। आरोप है कि महिला टीचर ने शराब और मारिजुआना छात्र को दिए और उसके साथ कई बार यौन संबंध बनाए। ये सिलसिला 20 से ज्यादा चला। पुलिस को संदेह है कि मेलिसा ने और भी बच्चों के साथ ऐसी गंदी हरकत की होगी। जांच जारी है।

किसी स्कूल में 2017 के बाद नहीं हुई नियुक्ति 

वहीं आरोपी मेलिसा मंगलवार ( 7 नवंबर) को पुलिस के सामने पेश हुई। वह फिलहाल मुचलके की सुनवाई का इंतजार कर रही है। मोंटगोमरी काउंटी पब्लिक स्कूल के एक प्रवक्ता ने कथित तौर पर कहा कि मेलिसा को 2017 से जिले के किसी भी स्कूल में नियुक्त नहीं किया गया है।
