बीकानेर. अफीम तस्करी के मामले में आरोपियों को बचाने की कवायद के मामले में निलंबित किए प्रोबेशनर सब इंस्पेक्टर पर सख्त कार्रवाई करते हुए सेवा से बर्खास्त कर दिया गया है. बीकानेर रेंज आईजी ओमप्रकाश ने बताया कि 23 मार्च को थानाधिकारी पुलिस थाना पांचू रामकेश मीणा ने नाकाबंदी के दौरान एक गाड़ी में दो व्यक्तियों को दस्तयाब कर उनके पास अफीम बरामद की. जिसके बाद एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत पुलिस थाना पांचू में मामला दर्ज किया गया.

इस मामले में बीकानेर पुलिस लाइन में तैनात प्रोबेशनर सब इंस्पेक्टर रमेश कुमार निवासी जोधपुर ने थाना पांचू के स्टाफ द्वारा की जा रही नाकाबंदी की जानकारी लेते हुए मौके पर स्वयं पहुंचकर थानाधिकारी पांचू द्वारा की जा रही कार्रवाई को प्रभावित करने का प्रयास करते हुए थानाधिकारी पर दबाव बनाने की कोशिश की. जिसके बाद बीकानेर एसपी ने शिकायत मिलने पर तत्काल निलंबित कर दिया.

CO नोखा को दी जांच : आईजी ओमप्रकाश ने बताया कि आरोपी उपनिरीक्षक की संलिप्तता पाए जाने पर अनुसंधान अधिकारी वृत्ताधिकारी नोखा ने 28 मार्च को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक अभिरक्षा में भिजवाया गया. अब इस मामले में आरोपी उपनिरीक्षक के विरूद्ध महानिरीक्षक पुलिस बीकानेर रेंज बीकानेर द्वारा सीसीए नियमों के तहत कठोर कार्रवाई करते हुए तत्काल प्रभाव से बुधवार को सेवा से बर्खास्त करने के आदेश किए हैं.
