क्या आपने कभी सुना है एक व्यक्ति जिसे एक समय में दो लीवर लगाए जाएं । यह राजस्थान की मेडिकल हिस्ट्री में पहला और अनोखा केस हैं । व्यक्ति का वजन ज्यादा होने के कारण अचानक दूसरे लीवर की जरूरत पड़ी तो परिवार की ही महिला ने यह लीवर दिया। जिस व्यक्ति के दो लीवर लगाए गए हैं। उनका वजन 156 किलोग्राम था। इस लिवर ट्रांसप्लांट को ड्यूल लॉबी लिवर ट्रांसप्लांट नाम दिया गया है। जो जयपुर के महात्मा गांधी मेडिकल कॉलेज और अस्पताल में किया गया है।

लिवर ट्रांसप्लांट करने वाली टीम के इंचार्ज डॉक्टर नामिष एन मेहता ने कहा कि 50 वर्षीय इंद्रपाल को ड्यूल लिवर ट्रांसप्लांट किया गया है। उनका वजन अप्रत्याशित रूप से कहीं ज्यादा था। वह 156 किलोग्राम के थे । पत्नी का लीवर लगाया गया , जिसका वजन 520 ग्राम था। लेकिन उसके बावजूद भी लीवर का पूरा हिस्सा नहीं जोड़ा जा सका। फिर एक और अंगदाता को तैयार किया गया जो इंद्रपाल की भाभी थी। उन्होंने 220 ग्राम लीवर दिया। तब जाकर इंद्रपाल को 750 ग्राम से ज्यादा लीवर लगाया गया है।
20 दिन तक डॉक्टर की देखरेख में रहेंगे मरीज
डॉ मेहता ने कहा कि हम काफी परेशान थे क्योंकि इस तरह का कभी कोई केस सामने नहीं आया था । लेकिन सभी डॉक्टर ने कंसर्ट की और उसके बाद परिवार को इसकी सूचना दी और परिवार की सहमति के बाद एक साथ दो व्यक्तियों का लिवर एक व्यक्ति में ट्रांसप्लांट करने की तैयारी की गई । इंद्रपाल की सर्जरी 30 जनवरी को की गई थी । करीब 20 दिन तक उन्हें डॉक्टर की देखरेख में रखा गया है।
इस ऑपरेशन में आया 17 लाख रुपए का खर्च
डॉ मेहता ने कहा कि अब वह पूरी तरह से स्वस्थ है। लिवर ट्रांसप्लांट के बाद उनका वजन भी कुछ कम हुआ है। इस सर्जरी में करीब 17 लाख रुपए का खर्च हुआ है । लेकिन इसमें से अधिकतर मुख्यमंत्री चिरंजीवी बीमा योजना के तहत कट गया है । डॉक्टर मेहता ने कहा कि अगर यह सर्जरी दिल्ली, मुंबई जैसे बड़े राज्यों में कराई जाती तो इसका खर्च करोड़ रुपए तक जा सकता था।

Dr. Namish N Mehta, in-charge of the liver transplant team, said that 50-year-old Indrapal has been given a dual liver transplant. His weight was unexpectedly high. He was 156 kg. The wife's liver was implanted, which weighed 520 grams. But despite this, the entire part of the liver could not be attached. Then another organ donor was prepared who was Indrapal's sister-in-law. He gave 220 grams of liver. Then more than 750 grams of liver was implanted in Indrapal.
Patients will remain under doctor's care for 20 days
Dr. Mehta said that we were very worried because no such case had ever come to light. But all the doctors did a concert and then informed the family and after the consent of the family, preparations were made to transplant the liver of two people into one person. Indrapal's surgery was done on 30 January. He has been kept under doctor's supervision for about 20 days.
This operation cost Rs 17 lakh
Dr. Mehta said that now he is completely healthy. His weight has also reduced a bit after liver transplant. About Rs 17 lakh has been spent on this surgery. But most of it has been deducted under the Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Insurance Scheme. Dr. Mehta said that if this surgery was done in big states like Delhi, Mumbai, its cost could have gone up to crores of rupees.
