जालौर जिले के ओडवाड़ा ग्राम में हाई कोर्ट के आदेश अनुसार 140 मकान पर बुलडोजर चला दिया गया. अतिक्रमण का ये खेल आज से नहीं, कई सालों से चला आ रहा था. लेकिन किसी ने भी इसकी सुध नहीं ली. जब दो भाइयों के बीच विवाद हुआ, तब जाकर इनका मामला कोर्ट पहुंचा और आज एक सौ चालीस परिवार बेघर हो गए. हाई कोर्ट के जांच करवाने के बाद 140 घर उसके साथ में नप गए.

घरों को तोड़ने को लेकर हाईकोर्ट ने आदेश दिया था. साथ ही कहा था कि समय रहते अपने घरों को खाली कर दें. लेकिन आदेश के बाद भी लोग अपने घरों में ही रह रहे थे. जब जेसीबी घरों को तोड़ने पहुंचा तो वहां जमकर विवाद होने लगा. महिलाएं दहाड़ मारकर रोती नजर आई. जबकि मर्द मशीनों के सामने खड़े होकर विरोध करते दिखाई दिए.

ये रहा पूरा मामला
मामला जालोर ज़िले के ओडवाड़ा गांव का है. यहां बीते कई सालों से चार सौ घर अतिक्रमण कर बनाए गए थे. इनमें एक सौ चालीस परिवार रहते हैं. यही रहने वाले दो भाइयों का प्रॉपर्टी को लेकर विवाद हो गया, जिसे उन्होंने कोर्ट में सुलझाने का फैसला किया. जब ये मामला कोर्ट गया, तब वहां अतिक्रमण वाली बात का खुलासा हुआ. फिर क्या था? कोर्ट ने दो भाइयों की सुलह की जगह प्रशासन को सारे अतिक्रमित घरों को तोड़ने का आदेश दे डाला.

रोते-बिलखते रह गए लोग
घरों को तोड़ने के दौरान वहां कोहराम मचा हुआ था. वहां रहने वालों ने पिछले कई दिनों से खाना नहीं खाया है. उनका कहना है कि वो यहां अस्सी से भी अधिक सालों से रह रहे हैं. कई का तो जन्म भी यही हुआ है. उन्होंने बिजली बिल जमा किया, पानी का बिल भी दिया. ऐसे में अब उनका आशियाना उजाड़ने की क्या आवश्यकता पड़ गई. सरकारी जमीन पर ये तीन पीढ़ियों से कब्ज़ा जमाए हुए थे. ये मामला अभी भी सामने नहीं आ पाता अगर दो भाइयों का विवाद नहीं होता. फिलहाल इस मामले पर राजनितिक सरगर्मी भी देखने को मिल रही है.

Here is the whole matter
The matter is of Odwada village of Jalore district. For the last several years, four hundred houses were built here by encroachment. One hundred and forty families live in them. Two brothers living there had a dispute over property, which they decided to resolve in court. When this matter went to court, the issue of encroachment came to light. Then what was left? Instead of reconciliation between the two brothers, the court ordered the administration to demolish all the encroached houses.
