बीकानेर से पूगल की ओर जाने वाली एक बस के केबिन में रखे संदूक से अज्ञात सवारियों ने सोने-चांदी के जेवर चोरी कर लिए। एक महिला ने इस आशय का मामला नयाशहर थाने में दर्ज कराया है, जिसके बाद मामले की छानबीन की जा रही है।
घटना 8 नवम्बर की है। पूगल के पास स्थित गांव पार्वती तलाई की रहने वाली समंदा कंवर ने पुलिस को बताया कि वो रात करीब साढ़े सात बजे एक प्राइवेट बस में बैठकर समंदा कंवर के लिए रवाना हुई थी। साढ़े दस बजे अपने गांव पहुंची। जहां पहुंचकर सामान संभाला तो संदूक से सोने के जेवरात गायब थे।
जेवरात की डिटेल हालांकि नहीं दी गई है। मेकअप का सामान भी संदूक में नहीं है। वो भी चुरा लिया गया है। समंदा कंवर के मुताबिक उसने अपना कुछ सामान ड्राइवर के केबिन में रखा था, जहां कुछ सवारियां पहले से बैठी थी। इन सवारियों ने ही सांठगांठ करके सामान चोरी कर लिया। जो सामान केबिन में रखा था,
उसी में से चोरी हुई है। जगह नहीं होने के कारण वो सामान के पास नहीं बैठ सकी। पुलिस ने बस नंबर के आधार पर अब जांच शुरू कर दी है। इससे पहले भी प्राइवेट बसों में चोरी की घटनाएं खाजूवाला, लूणकरनसर, बीकानेर शहर और श्रीडूंगरगढ़ में हो चुकी है।

Unidentified passengers stole gold and silver jewelery from a box kept in the cabin of a bus going from Bikaner to Pugal. A woman has lodged a case to this effect in Nayashahr police station, after which the matter is being investigated.
The incident is of 8th November. Samanda Kanwar, a resident of village Parvati Talai, located near Poogal, told the police that she had left for Samanda Kanwar in a private bus at around 7.30 pm. Reached my village at 10.30. When we reached there and took care of the luggage, the gold jewelery was missing from the box.
However, details of the jewelery have not been given. Make-up items are also not in the box. That too has been stolen. According to Samanda Kanwar, she had kept some of her belongings in the driver's cabin, where some passengers were already sitting. It was these passengers who colluded and stole the goods. There has been theft from there. Due to lack of space she could not sit near the luggage. Police have now started investigation on the basis of bus number. Even before this, incidents of theft in private buses have happened in Khajuwala, Lunkaransar, Bikaner city and Sridungargarh.
