चारे के नीचे छुपाकर ले जा रहे थे 21 लाख का 130 किलो डोडा चूरा, पुलिस ने किया जब्त, दो गिरफ्तार

जिले के भवानी मंडी थाना क्षेत्र में सोमवार को पुलिस ने मादक पदार्थ तस्करी के खिलाफ बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए 130 किलो अवैध अफीम डोडा चूरा सहित दो तस्करों को गिरफ्तार करने में सफलता हासिल की है. इस दौरान पुलिस ने तस्करी में काम में लिए जाने वाले पिकअप वाहन को भी मौके से जब्त किया है. पुलिस ने बताया कि दोनों आरोपी अवैध मादक पदार्थ डोडा चूरा को सोयाबीन के चारे के नीचे छुपा कर ले जा रहे थे. पुलिस की नाकाबंदी के दौरान पिकअप वाहन की तलाशी लेने पर यह खुलासा हो पाया. पुलिस ने अवैध मादक पदार्थ की कीमत 21 लाख रुपए बताई है.

मामले की जानकारी देते हुए झालावाड़ जिला पुलिस अधीक्षक ऋचा तोमर ने बताया कि जिले में अवैध मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी तथा वांछित अपराधियों की धरपकड़ के लिए लगातार विशेष अभियान चलाया जा रहा है. वहीं आचार संहिता के मध्येनजर संदिग्ध इलाकों में पुलिस के द्वारा लगातार नाकाबंदी कर अवैध मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी पर नकेल कसी जा रही है. इसी अभियान के तहत सोमवार को झालावाड़ जिले के बॉर्डर एरिया पर स्थित जुल्मी तिराहे पर पिपलिया गांव में पुलिस ने नाकाबंदी के दौरान एक संदिग्ध पिकअप को रुकवा कर उसकी तलाशी ली, तो पिकअप में सोयाबीन के चारे के नीचे 130 किलोग्राम अवैध अफीम डोडा चूरा बरामद किया गया.

पुलिस अधीक्षक ने बताया कि अवैध तस्करी में लिप्त दो तस्करों राजूराम तथा बिरधा राम को पुलिस ने मौके से गिरफ्तार किया है. दोनों ही आरोपी राजस्थान के नागौर जिले के निवासी हैं. ऋचा तोमर ने बताया कि तस्करी में काम में लिए जाने वाले पिकअप वाहन को भी मोंके से जब्त कर लिया गया है. दोनों आरोपियों के खिलाफ एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज कर अनुसंधान किया जा रहा है. साथ ही आरोपियों से पूछताछ की जा रही है कि अवैध मादक पदार्थ को कहां और किसे सप्लाई किया जाना था. इसके साथ ही पुलिस दोनों तस्कर जिले में किन-किन लोगों के संपर्क में थे, इसका भी पता लगाया जा रहा है.

Giving information about the case, Jhalawar District Superintendent of Police Richa Tomar said that a special campaign is being run continuously in the district to arrest illegal drug trafficking and wanted criminals. In view of the code of conduct, the police is continuously cracking down on illegal drug trafficking by imposing blockades in suspicious areas. Under the same campaign, on Monday, in Pipliya village at Julmi Tiraha situated on the border area of Jhalawar district, during the blockade, the police stopped a suspicious pickup and searched it, and recovered 130 kg of illegal opium doda powder under the soybean fodder in the pickup. The Superintendent of Police said that the police have arrested two smugglers, Rajuram and Birdha Ram, involved in illegal smuggling from the spot. Both the accused are residents of Nagaur district of Rajasthan. Richa Tomar told that the pickup vehicle used in smuggling has also been seized from Monke. A case has been registered against both the accused under the NDPS Act and investigation is being conducted. Also, the accused are being interrogated as to where and to whom the illegal drugs were to be supplied. Along with this, the police is also investigating the people with whom both the smugglers were in contact in the district.
