बीकानेर। मौसम में बदलाव के साथ ही चिकनगुनिया कहर बरपाने लगा है। गंगाशहर का आधे से ज्यादा इलाका इसकी गिरफ्त में है। हर घर में लोग बीमार हैं। पीबीएम हॉस्पिटल में रोज करीब सौ रोगी पहुंच रहे हैं। जबकि सरकारी आंकड़ों में पॉजिटिव केस मात्र 31 ही हैं। शहर में डेंगू के केस कम हुए हैं, लेकिन चिकनगुनिया के तेजी से बढ़ रहे हैं।
इसका कारण भी एडीज मच्छर ही है, जो साफ पानी में होता है। इसका सबसे ज्यादा असर गंगाशहर और भीनासर में हुआ है। नवंबर महीने में अब तक पांच सौ से ज्यादा केस इसी इलाके से सामने आए हैं। हालांकि पीबीएम हॉस्पिटल की जांच में पॉजिटिव केस 31 ही हैं। स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अनुसार गंगाशहर के चौरड़िया चौक, चौपड़ा बाड़ी, गोपेश्वर बस्ती, भीनासर सहित कई इलाकों में हर घर में लोग चिकनगुनिया से पीड़ित हैं।
ऐसे कई घर हैं, जहां पूरा परिवार ही बीमार पड़ा है। पीबीएम हॉस्पिटल के मेडिसिन ओपीडी में रोज करीब सौ पेशेंट वायरल बुखार के आ रहे हैं, जिनके सिर से लेकर शरीर के हर अंग में दर्द है। ऐसे रोगियों का इलाज चिकनगुनिया मानकर ही किया जा रहा है। इसी प्रकार मेडिसिन के डॉक्टरों के घरों पर भी रोज दस से पंद्रह मरीज डेंगू के साथ चिकनगुनिया के पहुंच रहे हैं।
पीबीएम के डॉक्टर्स और स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारी भी इस बात को स्वीकार कर रहे हैं। उनका कहना है कि चिकनगुनिया एक ऐसा वायरल है, जिसकी पॉजिटिव रिपोर्ट सात दिन बाद जांच से सामने आती है। इसमें मरीज के शरीर में असहनीय दर्द होता है, जिससे उसका इलाज तुरंत करना जरूरी है। सात दिन में मरीज ठीक हो जाता है। उसके बाद कोई जांच कराने नहीं आता।

Every day about a hundred patients of viral fever are coming to the medicine OPD of PBM Hospital, who have pain in every part of the body, from head to head. Such patients are being treated as Chikungunya. Similarly, every day ten to fifteen patients of chikungunya along with dengue are arriving at the homes of medical doctors.
PBM doctors and health department officials are also accepting this. He says that Chikungunya is such a viral virus that its positive report comes out after seven days of testing. In this, there is unbearable pain in the patient's body, due to which it is necessary to treat it immediately. The patient recovers in seven days. After that no one comes for investigation.
