केंद्रीय सड़क एवं परिवहन मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने टोल वसूली को लेकर बड़ा बयान दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि टोल सिस्टम लाना हमारी मजबूरी थी। सरकार के पास रिसोर्सेज की कमी है, लेकिन विदेशों में यही सिस्टम चल रहा है। अगर आपको अच्छी सर्विस चाहिए तो इसके लिए पैसा चुकाना ही होगा। टोल वसूली बंद नहीं हो सकती। कम या ज्यादा हो सकती है।
गडकरी ने शुक्रवार को यहां पत्रकारों से कहा कि टोल वसूलने के लिए नया सिस्टम ला रहे हैं। इसके तहत सैटेलाइट के जरिए ही आपके अकाउंट से पैसा कटेगा। खास बात यह है कि हाइवे पर जितने किलोमीटर आपकी गाड़ी चलेगी, उतना ही पैसा आपको चुकाना पड़ेगा। सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर गडकरी ने कहा कि हमने बहुत काम किए, मगर सफलता नहीं मिली, यह सच्चाई है। हमने कानून बनाया, जुर्माना लगाया, लेकिन दुर्भाग्यवश लोगों में कानून के प्रति डर नहीं है। जनता को ही जागरूक होना पड़ेगा। तभी दुर्घटनाओं में कमी आ सकती है।
नितिन गडकरी दो दिनों से राजस्थान में चुनावी दौरे पर हैं। उनकी झोटवाडा और विद्याधर नगर में सभाएं भी हुई और रोड शो भी हुए। गडकरी ने इस दौरान कांग्रेस पर हमला बोलने की जगह अपने कामों पर फोकस किया। गडकरी ने अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी सरकार और नरेन्द्र मोदी सरकार में किए गए अपने कार्यों की विस्तृत जानकारी भी दी।
सड़कों पर दो लाख करोड़ के काम, एक लाख करोड़ और खर्च करेंगे
नितिन गडकरी ने कहा कि राजस्थान में 41 हजार करोड़ की लागत से तीन ग्रीन फील्ड हाईवे बना रहे हैं। दिल्ली जयपुर हाईवे पर भी काम चल रहा है जो कि दिसंबर जनवरी तक पूरा हो जाएगा। अमृतसर जामनगर एक्सप्रेस-वे का काम भी चल रहा है, जो देश की तीन रिफाइनरी को जोड़ रहा है। प्रदेश में वर्तमान में दो लाख करोड़ के काम चल रहे हैं और भविष्य में करीब एक लाख करोड़ के काम और होंगे।

Nitin Gadkari said that three green field highways are being built in Rajasthan at a cost of Rs 41 thousand crores. Work is also going on on Delhi Jaipur Highway which will be completed by December January. The work of Amritsar Jamnagar Expressway is also going on, which is connecting three refineries of the country. At present works worth Rs 2 lakh crore are going on in the state and works worth Rs 1 lakh crore more will be done in the future.
