शहर के मुक्ताप्रसाद थाना क्षेत्र में एक इंस्टिट्यूट को गैस सिलेंडर से ब्लास्ट करने का मामला सामने आया है। आरोप है कि चुंगी चौकी निवासी आरोपी सरणजीत उर्फ शाबी अपने घर से गैस सिलेंडर व जवळनशील पदार्थ लेकर आया और रंगाज फिजिकल इंस्टिट्यूट का मेंन गेट तोड़कर अंदर घुसा और संस्थान को ब्लास्ट करने की नियत से मेन हॉल में विस्फोट कर दिया। धमाके की आवाज एक किलोमीटर की परिधि में तेज आवाज में सुनाई दी, जिससे क्षेत्र के लोग दहशत में आ गए। इस आशय का परिवाद रंगाज फिजिकल इंस्टिट्यूट के सचिव मंगलचंद रंगा ने मुक्ताप्रसाद थाने में दिया है।
पुलिस को दी रिपोर्ट में बताया गया कि धमाके के बाद ज़ब आसपास के सीसीटीवी फुटेज खंगाले गए तो आरोपी चुंगी चौकी निवासी आरोपी सरणजीत उर्फ शाबी द्वारा यह घटना कारित होना पाया गया। इस संबंध में इंस्टिट्यूट के पदाधिकारीयों ने आरोपी से इस घटना को लेकर कारण जानना चाहा तो आरोपी शराब के नशे में धमकी देकर बोला कि उसे उक्त संस्थान को नेस्तानाबुत करने की अंतराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर फिरोती मिली हुई है। घटना बीती 3 नवंबर की आधी रात करीब 3 बजे के आसपास की बताई जा रही है। फिलहाल पुलिस ने विभिन्न धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज कर जांच फुसाराम सऊनि को सौंपी है।

A case of blasting of an institute with a gas cylinder has come to light in Muktaprasad police station area of the city. It is alleged that accused Saranjit alias Shaabi, resident of Chungi Chowki, brought gas cylinder and intoxicants from his house and broke the main gate of Rangaaj Physical Institute and entered inside and detonated the main hall with the intention of blasting the institute. The sound of the explosion was heard loudly within a radius of one kilometer, due to which the people of the area got scared. A complaint to this effect has been given by Mangalchand Ranga, Secretary of Rangaj Physical Institute, at Muktaprasad police station.
It was told in the report given to the police that after the blast, when the CCTV footage of the surrounding area was searched, the incident was found to be caused by the accused Saranjeet alias Shaabi, a resident of Chungi Chowki. In this regard, when the officials of the institute wanted to know the reason for this incident from the accused, then the accused, under the influence of alcohol, threatened and said that he has received an international ransom to destroy the said institute. The incident is said to have taken place around 3 am on November 3 at midnight. At present, the police have registered a case under various sections and handed over the investigation to Phusaram Sauni.
