बीकानेर। महाजन स्थानीय पुलिस ने अर्जुनसर चेक पोस्ट पर फिर दो व्यक्तियों से ढाई लाख रुपये की राशि जत की है। पुलिस ने अभी तक आठ कार्यवाही में उन्तालीस लाख रुपये बरामद कर चुकी है। महाजन थानाधिकारी गणेश बिश्नोई ने बताया कि पुलिस महानिरीक्षक व पुलिस अधीक्षक बीकानेर के निर्देश पर अर्जुनसर व जैतपुर में चेक पोस्ट लगाकर आने जाने वाले वाहनों की गहनता से तलाशी की जा रही है।
शनिवार को तलाशी के दौरान काऱ में सवार हरियाणा निवासी रामधन के पास डेढ़ लाख व बस में सवार त्रिलोक कुहार के पास एक लाख मिले। पूछताछ करने पर दोनो व्यक्तियों के पास रुपये का कोई लेन-देन नही होने से पुलिस ने ढाई लाख रुपये की राशि जप्त कर ली।

पुलिस राशि जत कर उच्च अधिकारियों को जानकारी दी। सीआई ने बताया कि चुनाव के चलते हाइवे पर विशेष निगरानी रखी जा रही है। अवैध मादक प्रदार्थ व नगदी राशि जत की कार्यवाही की जा रही है। अर्जुनसर व जैतपुर चेक पोस्ट पर अभी तक आठ कार्यवाही में करीब उन्तालीस लाख रुपये की राशि जत की जा चुकी है।
आचार सहिंता की पालना नही करने पर सत कार्यवाही की जाएगी। नाकाबंदी के दौरान पुलिस ने जत किए लाखों रुपए श्रीडूंगरगढ़ थाना क्षेत्र में नाकाबंदी के दौरान चार लाख रूपये पुलिस द्वारा जत करने का मामला सामने आया है। नाकाबंदी के दौरान कार में 500 के नोटों की चार लाख रूपये की गड्डियां मिली है। कार में सवार तीनों व्यक्तियों को पुलिस ने हिरासत में ले लिया है और पूछताछ शुरू कर दी है।

Mahajan police station officer Ganesh Bishnoi said that on the instructions of Inspector General of Police and Superintendent of Police Bikaner, check posts are being set up in Arjunsar and Jaitpur and the vehicles coming and going are being searched thoroughly.
During the search on Saturday, Rs 1.5 lakh was found with Ramdhan, a resident of Haryana, traveling in the car and Rs 1 lakh was found with Trilok Kuhar, traveling in the bus. When interrogated, the police seized an amount of Rs 2.5 lakh as both the persons did not have any money in their possession.
The police seized the money and informed the higher authorities. CI said that due to the elections, special surveillance is being kept on the highway. Action is being taken to seize illegal narcotics and cash. So far, an amount of about Rs 49 lakh has been seized in eight operations at Arjunsar and Jaitpur check posts.
