कोटा। बरसात के अभाव में सम्भाग में किसानों की फसल सूखने के कगार पर आ गई है। खेतों में लहलाती फसल को सूखता देख एक किसान ने अवसाद में आकर आत्महत्या कर ली। घटना रक्षाबंधन के दिन की है।
दीगोद थानाधिकारी मुकेश त्यागी ने बताया कि कोटा जिले के दीगोद थाना क्षेत्र के ककरावदा निवासी किसान रामगोपाल लश्करी (48) ने 31 अगस्त को घर के पास बने बाड़े में आत्महत्या कर ली। घटना की जानकारी मिलने पर परिजन उसे कोटा एमबीएस अस्पताल लेकर पहुंचे जहां चिकित्सकों ने मृत घोषित कर दिया। मृतक के बेटे शुभम ने दी रिपोर्ट में बताया कि पिता सोयाबीन की फसल सूखने से पिछले दिनों से काफी चिंचित व तनाव में थे। रक्षा बंधन पर ससुराल चला गया और पिछे से पितना ने बाड़े में आत्महत्या कर ली। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर आत्महत्या के कारणों की जांच शुरू कर दी है।
शुभम ने बताया कि 5 बीघा में सोयाबीन की बुवाई की थी। पहले फसल अच्छी थी, लेकिन पिछले एक माह से बरसात नहीं होने से सोयाबीन सूखने लग गई थी। ऐसे में पिता को फसल खराबे की चिंता सता रही थी। इसका जिक्र उन्होंने परिवार से कई बार किया। उन्होंने बताया कि पिछले दो-तीन सालों से फसल अच्छी नहीं होने से आर्थिक परेशानी के चलते पिता काफी तनाव में थे।

Digod police station officer Mukesh Tyagi said that farmer Ramgopal Lashkari (48), a resident of Kakravada of Digod police station area of Kota district, committed suicide on August 31 in a fence near his house. On getting information about the incident, the relatives took him to Kota MBS Hospital where the doctors declared him dead. Shubham, the son of the deceased, told in the report that the father was very worried and tense for the last few days due to the drying up of the soybean crop. Went to in-laws house on Raksha Bandhan and later father committed suicide in the yard. The police have registered a case and started probing the cause of the suicide.
Shubham told that soybean was sown in 5 bighas. Earlier the crop was good, but due to lack of rain for the last one month, the soyabean started drying up. In such a situation, the father was worried about crop failure. He mentioned this to the family several times. He told that for the last two-three years the father was under a lot of stress due to financial problems due to poor crop.
