बीकानेर पूर्व विधानसभा क्षेत्र से भाजपा विधायक सिद्धि कुमारी को फिर से चौथी बार प्रत्याशी घोषित किये जाने के बाद, विरोध में उतरे पार्टी के ही पूर्व नगर विकास न्यास अध्यक्ष और लघु उद्योग प्रकोष्ठ के महावीर रांका ने निर्दलीय चुनाव लड़ने का मन बना लिया है।
सूत्रों से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार वे निर्दलीय ही चुनाव लड़ने की तैयारी में है और फिलहाल उनके कांग्रेस पार्टी में जाने और कांग्रेस से ही पार्टी प्रत्याशी बनने का कोई इरादा नहीं है। बताया यह भी जा रहा था कि दूसरे राजनीतिक दलों से भी इस संबंध में वार्ता के दौर चले थे। लेकिन उन पर स्पष्ट निर्णय नहीं लिया गया है।
यह भी संभावना जताई जा रही है कि आने वाले समय में वह अपने विचारों को मोड़ भी दे सकते हैं। लेकिन वर्तमान में कांग्रेस पार्टी से रांका के चुनाव लड़ने पर संशय अंतिम समय तक बरकरार रहेगा। जब तक कांग्रेस अपने प्रत्याशी घोषित नहीं कर देती। जानकारी के अनुसार रांका के निर्दलीय चुनाव लड़ने की तैयारी को अंतिम रूप दिया जा रहा है। इस संबंध में हो सकता है आज-कल में महावीर रांका प्रेसवार्ता कर सार्वजनिक घोषणा कर दे।
