बीकानेर पूर्व सीट पर भाजपा का गढ़ भेदने के लिये कांग्रेस ने झोंकी ताकत
बीकानेर,पिछले तीन विधानसभा चुनावों से भाजपा का गढ़ बनी बीकानेर पूर्व सीट फतेह करने के लिये कांग्रेस ने समूची ताकत झोंक दी है। कांग्रेसी खेमें में टिकट बंटवारें के लिये चली लंबे दौर की मशक्कत के बाद कांग्रेस ने इस सीट से भाजपा की दिग्गज प्रत्याशी सिद्धी कुमारी के सामने शहर कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष यशपाल गहलोत को मैदान में उतारा है।
संगठन में मजबूत पकड़ रखने वाले यशपाल गहलोत की यह पहली चुनावी जंग है,जबकि सिद्धी कुमारी इस सीट पर जीत की हैट्रिक बना चुकी है। हालांकि भाजपा के रणनीतिकार बीकानेर पूर्व सीट के चुनावी मुकाबलें में यशपाल गहलोत को कमजोर प्रत्याशी आंकते हुए अपनी एकतरफा जीत का दावा कर रहे है,लेकिन यशपाल की चुनावी सभाओं में उमड़ रही भीड़ से कांग्रेस रणनीतिकारों को इस सीट पर बड़ी जीत की उम्मीद है। वहीं तीसरे ताकत दिखा रहे आरएलपी के मनोज विश्रोई भी इस सीट पर भाजपा कांग्रेस को कड़ी चुनौति दे रहे है।
साल २००८ के परिसीमन के बाद अस्तित्व में आई बीकानेर पूर्व विधानसभा सीट में इस बार 2,46,051मतदाता हैं । इनमें 1,25,642 पुरुष और 1,20,409 महिला मतदाता हैं. यहां महिला-पुरुष मतदाता का अनुपात 94.37 है । विधानसभा चुनाव-2018 में यहां 67.82 प्रतिशत मतदान हुआ है ।
-पिछले चुनावों का लेखा जोखा
2008 के विधानसभा चुनावों में सिद्धी कुमारी ने कांग्रेस के डॉ. तनवीर मालावात को 37,653 मतों के भारी अंतर से शिकस्त दी थी। विधानसभा चुनाव-2013 में सिद्धी कुमारी ने 77,839 मत लेकर कांग्रेस के गोपाल गहलोत को 31,677 मतों से पराजित किया था । जबकि साल 2018 के विधानसभा चुनावों में सिद्धी कुमारी को 73/174 वोट मिले,कांग्रेस के दिग्गज प्रत्याशी पूर्व संसदीय सचिव कन्हैयालाल झंवर ने 66113, वोट हासिल किये। सिद्धी कुमारी ने अपनी तीसरी जीत 7093 वोटों से दर्ज कराई।

बीकानेर पूर्व-कांग्रेस से यशपाल,भाजपा से सिद्धि कुमारी, बसपा से गोमती,रालोपा से मनोज बिश्नोई, अभिनव राजस्थान पार्टी से हरद्वारीलाल मेहरा, पब्लिक पॉलिटिकल पार्टी से भगवान सिंह और निर्दलीय प्रत्याशी के तौर पर नारायण सिंह,तोलाराम उपाध्याय, निर्मला केलानिया, लालचंद केदारनाथ खत्री, तीर्थराम, मीना, मोहर सिंह यादव मैदान में है।

Congress used all its strength to break the BJP's stronghold on Bikaner East seat.
Bikaner: Congress has put in all its strength to win Bikaner East seat, which has been a stronghold of BJP for the last three assembly elections. After a long struggle for ticket distribution in the Congress camp, Congress has fielded City Congress President Yashpal Gehlot against veteran BJP candidate Siddhi Kumari from this seat.
This is the first election battle of Yashpal Gehlot, who has a strong hold in the organization, while Siddhi Kumari has scored a hat-trick of victory on this seat. Although BJP strategists are claiming Yashpal Gehlot to be a weak candidate in the election contest of Bikaner East seat and claiming a one-sided victory, Congress strategists are hopeful of a big victory on this seat from the crowd gathering in Yashpal's election meetings. At the same time, Manoj Vishroi of RLP, who is showing strength, is also giving a tough challenge to BJP and Congress on this seat.
This time there are 2,46,051 voters in Bikaner East Assembly seat, which came into existence after the delimitation of 2008. Of these, 1,25,642 are male and 1,20,409 are female voters. In the 2008 assembly elections, Siddhi Kumari defeated Dr. Tanveer Malawat of Congress by a huge margin of 37,653 votes. In the Assembly elections-2013, Siddhi Kumari had secured 77,839 votes and defeated Gopal Gehlot of Congress by 31,677 votes. While Siddhi Kumari got 73/174 votes in the 2018 assembly elections, veteran Congress candidate former parliamentary secretary Kanhaiyalal Jhanwar got 66113 votes. Siddhi Kumari registered her third victory by 7093 votes.

Kedarnath Khatri, Tirtharam, Meena, Mohar Singh Yadav are in the fray.
