बीकानेर। शहर में बिना नंबरी व नकाबपोश बदमाशों की ओर से आए दिन की जा रही लूट व छीना-झपटी की वारदातों से निबटने के लिए जिला पुलिस की ओर से गुरुवार को चार घंटे का विशेष जांच अभियान चलाया गया। इन चार घंटों में शहर के मुख्य चौराहों, मार्गों व राजमार्गों से शहर में प्रवेश के रास्तों पर ए श्रेणी की नाकाबंदी लगाई गई। नाकाबंदी का पुलिस अधीक्षक निरीक्षण करने पहुंची।
जानकारी के अनुसार जिले के सभी थाना क्षेत्रों में शाम पांच से रात 10 बजे तक सभी एसएचओ, सर्किल ऑफिसर ने हथियार बंद जवानों के साथ नाकाबंदी की। बिना नंबरी व काली फिल्म लगे वाहनों पर कार्रवाई की गई। विशेष अभियान के तहत 115 बिना नंबरी वाहनों के चालान किए गए, वहीं 15 गाडि़यां सीज की गई। कार के शीशों पर काली फिल्म लगाने पर 252 वाहनों के चालान बनाए गए और काली शीशे लगी 35 गाडि़यों को कागजात नहीं होने के कारण सीज किया।
25 व्यक्तियों को शांतिभंग करने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया। अभियान के दौरान सात स्थायी वारंटी वांछित अपराधियों को पकड़ा गया। इस दौरान नोखा पुलिस ने एक आबकारी अधिनियम में कार्रवाई की है। अभियान के दौरान वाहन चालकों से करीब पांच लाख से अधिक का जुर्माना वसूला गया है।

According to the information, all the SHOs and Circle Officers along with armed soldiers blocked all the police station areas of the district from 5 pm to 10 pm. Action was taken against vehicles without number plates and with black film on them. Under the special campaign, challans were issued against 115 numberless vehicles, while 15 vehicles were seized. Challans were issued to 252 vehicles for applying black film on car mirrors and 35 vehicles with black mirrors were seized due to lack of documents.
25 persons arrested for disturbing peace. Seven permanent warrant wanted criminals were caught during the operation. During this time, Nokha police has taken action under an Excise Act. During the campaign, a fine of more than Rs 5 lakh has been collected from the drivers.
