कपड़ों के बीच छिपाकर शराब तस्करी करते दो गिरफ्तार, ट्रक सहित 40 लाख की शराब जब्त

हनुमानगढ़ जिले की नोहर पुलिस ने शराब की तस्करी करते दो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया है। साथ ही ट्रक को भी जब्त किया है। आरोपियों ने ट्रक में कपड़े की गांठों के बीच शराब के कार्टून छिपाए हुए थे। तलाशी में 440 कार्टून शराब के जब्त किए गए है। जिसकी कीमत 40 लाख रुपए बताई जा रही है।

पुलिस के अनुसार, नोहर रावतसर मार्ग पर देईदास गांव के पास नाकाबंदी की हुई थी। इस दौरान एक ट्रक आया। जिसे रुकवा कर तलाशी ली। आरोपियों ने ट्रक में कपड़े की गांठे बनाई हुई रखी थी। जिनके बीच में शराब के कार्टून छिपाए हुए थे। किसी को शक ना हो इसके लिए ट्रक के ऊपर भी कपड़े की गांठे लगाई हुई थी। तलाशी में पुलिस को कपड़े की गांठों के बीच 440 कार्टूनों में भरी 5280 शराब की बोतलें मिली। जिस पर पुलिस ने ट्रक में सवार तेज सिंह (28) पुत्र लाखजी निवासी बनाबकारा और दुर्गा बाई (28) पुत्र राजमल रेबारी निवासी बडग़ांव, बनासकाठा को गिरफ्तार कर लिया।

गिरफ्तार किए गए दोनों आरोपी गुजरात के निवासी है। पुलिस पूछताछ में आरोपियों ने बताया कि शराब पंजाब के जालंधर से लाई गई है, जिसे गुजरात के जामनगर ले जा रहे थे। थाना प्रभारी ने बताया कि गुजरात में शराब प्रतिबंध होने के कारण पंजाब से शराब ले जाकर वहां महंगे दामों पर बेची जाती है।

According to the police, there was a blockade near Deidas village on Nohar Rawatsar road. During this time a truck came. He was stopped and searched. The accused had kept bundles of clothes in the truck. Among which liquor cartoons were hidden. To avoid any suspicion, bales of cloth were also placed on the top of the truck. During the search, the police found 5280 liquor bottles filled in 440 cartoons among the bales of clothes. On which the police arrested Tej Singh (28), son of Lakhji, resident of Banabakara and Durga Bai (28), son of Rajmal Rebari, resident of Badgaon, Banaskatha, who were traveling in the truck.

Both the arrested accused are residents of Gujarat. During police interrogation, the accused told that the liquor was brought from Jalandhar in Punjab and was being taken to Jamnagar in Gujarat. The station in-charge said that due to liquor ban in Gujarat, liquor is taken from Punjab and sold there at expensive prices.
