विधानसभा चुनाव के मध्यनजर पुलिस सख्ताई के साथ कार्रवाईयां कर रही है। जिसमें चाहे अवैध नशा हो या चाहे संदिग्ध नकदी। पुलिस द्वारा लगातार कार्रवाईयां की जा रही है। इसी के तहत हनुमानगढ़ जिले के टाउन थाना अधीन लखूवाली पुलिस चौकी ने नाकाबंदी के दौरान एक व्यक्ति के कब्जे से डेढ़ लाख रुपए की संदिग्ध राशि जब्त की है। आरोपी पुलिस को संदिग्ध नकदी के बारे में कोई जानकारी नहीं दे पाया। पुलिस ने राशि को जब्त कर लिया है।

पुलिस के अनुसार लखूवाली पुलिस चौकी प्रभारी एएसआई सोहनलाल सांखला के नेतृत्व में पुलिस टीम बुधवार को विधानसभा चुनाव के मद्देनजर पुलिस चौकी के सामने मेगा हाईवे पर नाकाबंदी कर रखी थी। नाकाबंदी के दौरान बस से उतरे मंदीप कुमार सिंगला (44) पुत्र कृष्णचन्द्र अग्रवाल निवासी श्रीराम कॉलोनी, श्रीगंगानगर को रूकवाकर तलाशी ली तो उसके पास 1 लाख 50 हजार रुपए की राशि मिली। मंदीप कुमार सिंगला इस राशि के बारे में कोई संतोषजनक जवाब नहीं दे पाया। इस पर पुलिस ने मौके पर एफएसटी टीम को बुलाया। एफएसटी ने अग्रिम कार्रवाई कर उक्त राशि जब्त कर ली। टीम में चौकी प्रभारी एएसआई सोहनलाल सांखला, हेड कॉन्स्टेबल जसवन्त सिंह, कॉन्स्टेबल राकेश, प्रवीण, नंदराम और एफएसटी शामिल थी।

Under this, Lakhuwali police post under Town police station of Hanumangarh district has seized a suspicious amount of Rs 1.5 lakh from the possession of a person during the blockade. The accused could not give any information to the police about the suspicious cash. The police have confiscated the amount.

According to the police, the police team led by Lakhuwali police post in-charge ASI Sohanlal Sankhla had blocked the mega highway in front of the police post on Wednesday in view of the assembly elections. During the blockade, Mandeep Kumar Singla (44), son of Krishnachandra Agarwal, resident of Shriram Colony, Sriganganagar, who got off the bus, was stopped and searched and an amount of Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand was found with him. Mandeep Kumar Singla could not give any satisfactory answer regarding this amount. On this the police called the FST team on the spot. FST took advance action and seized the said amount. The team included outpost in-charge ASI Sohanlal Sankhla, head constable Jaswant Singh, constable Rakesh, Praveen, Nandram and FST.
