सड़क हादसा, ट्रक और कार की टक्कर में सात लोगों की मौत
हनुमानगढ़ में तेज स्पीड में ओवरटेक करना एक परिवार को भारी पड़ गया। कार के सामने से आ रहे ट्रक में टकराने से तीन बच्चों सहित सात लोगों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। दो गंभीर घायल बच्चों को बीकानेर रेफर किया गया है। हादसा इतना भयावह था कि कार पूरी तरह से पिचक गई और कार के पार्ट्स दूर तक बिखर गए। हादसा शनिवार रात करीब 11 बजे हनुमानगढ़ सरदारशहर-मेगा हाइवे पर गांव लखूवाली शेरगढ़ के बीच हुआ।
एसपी डॉ. राजीव पचार ने बताया कि रिट्ज कार में बच्चों सहित नौ लोग सवार थे। प्राथमिक जानकारी के अनुसार, नौरंगदेसर निवासी गुरबचन सिंह मजबी का परिवार गांव से अपनी कार में सवार होकर घर से चार किलोमीटर दूर गांव आदर्शनगर में एक बर्थडे पार्टी में शामिल होकर लौट रहे थे। इसी बीच रात करीब 10 बजे हनुमानगढ़ से सरदारशहर मेगा हाइवे पर गांव लखूवाली शेरगढ़ के बीच ओवर स्पीड में ओवरटेक करने के कारण कार सामने से आ रहे सीमेंट से भरे ट्रक से टकरा गई।
भीषण सड़क हादसे की सूचना पाकर सीओ सिटी अरविंद बेरड, टाउन सीआई वेदपाल शिवराण टीम के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे। उसके बाद एसपी डॉक्टर राजीव पचार भी देर रात्रि घटनास्थल पर पहुंच गए। ट्रक ड्राइवरों और अन्य लोगों ने कार में बुरी तरह फंसे लोगों को बाहर निकाला, तब तक तक सात लोगों की मौके पर मौत हो चुकी थी।
घायलों और मृतकों की हुई पहचान
एसपी राजीव पचार ने बताया कि कार में सवार गुरबचन सिंह की पत्नी परमजीत कौर (60), पुत्र रामपाल सिंह (36), पुत्रवधु रीमा (35), पौत्र आकाशदीप (14), पौत्री रीत (12), दूसरा बेटा खुशविंद्र सिंह (30), पुत्रवधु परमजीत कौर (22), पौत्र बेटा मनजोत (5) और पौत्री मनराज कौर (2) सवार थे। इनमें से आकाशदीप और मनराज कौर गंभीर घायल हैं, जिन्हें बीकानेर रेफर किया गया है। बाकी सभी की घटनास्थल पर ही मौत हो गई। पुलिस ने सभी शव जिला अस्पताल की मोर्चरी में रखवाए हैं, जिनका आज पोस्टमॉर्टम कराया जाएगा।
परिवार का दादा पहले से ही बिस्तर पर
हादसे में जान गंवाने वाले मृतकों के परिवार में गुरबचन सिंह पिछले कुछ साल से लगातार बीमार रहते हैं। जो कई महीनों से बिस्तर पर हैं। इस हादसे में गुरबचन सिंह के केवल एक पौत्र आकाशदीप और अबोध पौत्र मनराज कौर ही बचे हैं, जिन्हें बीकानेर रेफर किया गया है। इनमें से आकाशदीप की हालत बेहद गंभीर बताई गई है। इस भीषण हादसे की सूचना मिलते गांव में हड़कंप मच गया। आदर्शनगर व नौरंगदेसर के ग्रामीण सूचना मिलते ही बड़ी संख्या में घटनास्थल, और बाद में अस्पताल में एकत्रित हो गए।
Seven people died in road accident, collision between truck and car
Overtaking at high speed in Hanumangarh cost a family dearly. Seven people, including three children, died on the spot when the car collided with a truck coming from the front. Two seriously injured children have been referred to Bikaner. The accident was so horrific that the car was completely crushed and its parts scattered far and wide. The accident happened on Saturday night at around 11 pm between village Lakhuwali Shergarh on Hanumangarh Sardarshahar-Mega Highway.
SP Dr. Rajeev Pachar said that nine people, including children, were traveling in the Ritz car. According to preliminary information, the family of Gurbachan Singh Majbi, resident of Naurangdesar, was returning from the village in their car after attending a birthday party in village Adarshnagar, four kilometers away from their home. Meanwhile, at around 10 pm, due to overtaking at village Lakhuwali Shergarh on Hanumangarh to Sardarshahar Mega Highway, the car collided with a truck full of cement coming from the front.
After receiving information about the horrific road accident, CO City Arvind Baird and Town CI Vedpal Shivran reached the spot with the team. After that, SP Dr. Rajeev Pachar also reached the spot late in the night. By the time truck drivers and other people pulled out the people trapped in the car, seven people had died on the spot.
Injured and dead identified
SP Rajeev Pachar said that the passengers in the car were Gurbachan Singh's wife Paramjit Kaur (60), son Rampal Singh (36), daughter-in-law Reema (35), grandson Akashdeep (14), granddaughter Reet (12), second son Khushwinder Singh (30). ), daughter-in-law Paramjit Kaur (22), grandson Manjot (5) and granddaughter Manraj Kaur (2) were on board. Of these, Akashdeep and Manraj Kaur are seriously injured, who have been referred to Bikaner. Everyone else died on the spot. The police have kept all the bodies in the mortuary of the district hospital, whose postmortem will be conducted today.

In this accident, only one grandson of Gurbachan Singh, Akashdeep and innocent grandson Manraj Kaur are left, who have been referred to Bikaner. Of these, Akashdeep's condition is said to be very serious. There was a stir in the village after receiving information about this horrific accident. As soon as the information was received, villagers of Adarshnagar and Naurangdesar gathered in large numbers at the incident site and later at the hospital.
