यह फिल्म 22 दिसंबर के दिन बड़े पर्दे पर रिलीज होने के लिए तैयार है। वहीं अब प्रभाष से जुड़ा ऐक ऐसा वीडियो सामने आया है जो कि इंटरनेट और सोशल मीडिया पर काफी तेजी से वायरल हो रहा है। हालांकि यह वीडियो काफी पुराना है और इसे साल 2019 में सोशल मीडिया पर शेयर किया गया था।
लेकिन अब प्रभाष की अपकमिंग फिल्म को लेकर चल रहे बज के चलते एक बार फिर से यह वीडियो इंटरनेट पर वायरल हो रहा है। फैंस ने मारा प्रभाष को थप्पड़ इस वीडियो में प्रभाष को एक मॉल जैसी किसी जगह पर देखा जा सकता है। इसमें एक महिला फैंस तेजी से दौड़ते हुए प्रभाष के पास आती है। फिर वह प्रभाष के साथ सेल्फी लेती है। सेल्फी लेने के बाद वह बेहद ही चंचलता भरे अंदाज में प्रभाष के गाल पर धीरे से एक थप्पड़ मारती है और फिर उछलते कूदते हुए वहां से भाग जाती है।

22 दिसंबर को दोनों की अभिनेताओं की फिल्म बॉक्स ऑफिस पर टकराएंगी। 22 दिसंबर को शाहरुख खान की 'डंकी' और प्रभाष की 'सालार' एक साथ ही रिलीज हो रही हैं। इससे पहले 'सालार' की रिलीज डेट 28 सितंबर तय थी। लेकिन पोस्ट प्रोडक्शन का हवाला देते हुए इस फिल्म की रिलीज डेट को पोस्टपोन्ड कर दिया गया था।
इस फिल्म का टकराव विवेक अग्निहोत्री की 'द वैक्सीन वॉर' के साथ होनी थी। 'सालार' का निर्देशन 'KGF' सीरीज फेम प्रशांत नील ने किया है। पिछले हफ्ते ही इस फिल्म की नई रिलीज डेट का ऐलान किया गया था। सालार में प्रभास के अलावा पृथ्वीराज सुकुमारन, श्रुति हासन और मीनाक्षी चौधरी हैं।
