केंद्रीय मंत्री अनुराग ठाकुर ने प्रेस कांफ्रेस के दौरान भारत की सबसे बड़ी योजना के बारे में बड़ी अपडेट दी है। केंद्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री गरीब कल्याण योजना को केंद्र की मोदी सरकार ने अगले 5 सालों के लिए बढ़ा दिया है। इस स्कीम का सीधा बेनिफिट देश की 81 करोड़ से ज्यादा की जनता को मिलेगा। अनुराग ठाकुर ने यह भी कहा कि इससे केंद्र सरकार पर लाखों करोड़ रुपए का बोझ पड़ेगा लेकिन केंद्र सरकार आम आदमी के हित वाली इस योजना का लाभ देती रहेगी।

क्या है प्रधानमंत्री गरीब कल्याण (PMGKY) योजना

प्रधानमंत्री गरीब कल्याण योजना को 1 जनवरी 2024 से अगले 5 सालों के लिए बढ़ा दिया गया है। इस योजना के तहत देश के नागरिकों को मुफ्त राशन मुहैया कराय जाता है। इस योजना के तहत गरीब परिवारों को हर महीने 5 किलो राशन मुफ्त दिया जाता है। वहीं, अंत्योदय परिवारों को हर महीने 35 किलो मुफ्त राशन दिया जाता है। 

के इस फैसले का लाभ 81 करोड़ से ज्यादा की आबादी को मिलने वाला है। केंद्रीय मंत्री अनुराठ ठाकुर ने मीडिया जानकारी दी है कि केंद्रीय कैबिनेट ने इस प्रस्ताव पर मुहर लगा दी है और 1 जनवरी 2024 से यह स्कीम 5 साल के लिए एक्सटेंड हो जाएगी। कहा कि इससे केंद्र सरकार पर करीब 11.80 करोड़ रुपए का अतिरिक्त बोझ पड़ेगा लेकिन केंद्र सरकार इसके लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।

13 करोड़ लोग गरीबी रेखा से आगे बढ़े

केंद्रीय मंत्री ने प्रधानमंत्री गरीब कल्याण स्कीम की तारीफ करते हुए कहा कि इस स्कीम की वजह से भारत के करीब 13 करोड़ लोग गरीबी रेखा से ऊपर उठ चुके हैं। मंत्री ने कहा कि कोरोना महामारी के दौरान यह स्कीम आम लोगों की आजीविका का साधन बनी। भारत के करोड़ों लोगों ने इस स्कीम का लाभ लिया और यह लोकप्रिय साबित हुई। उन्होंने कहा कि कोरोना काल में ही यह स्कीम लागू की गई ताकि कोई भूखे पेट न सोने पाए। इसका असर भी देखने को मिला और इतनी बड़ी महामारी को देश के लोगों ने आसानी से सामना किया।

What is Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan (PMGKY) Scheme?

Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana has been extended for the next 5 years from January 1, 2024. Under this scheme, free ration is provided to the citizens of the country. Under this scheme, poor families are given 5 kg ration free every month. At the same time, Antyodaya families are given 35 kg free ration every month.

A population of more than 81 crore is going to benefit from this decision. Union Minister Anurath Thakur has informed the media that the Union Cabinet has approved this proposal and this scheme will be extended for 5 years from January 1, 2024. Said that this will put an additional burden of about Rs 11.80 crore on the Central Government but the Central Government is committed to it.

13 crore people crossed the poverty line
