राजस्थान के उदयपुर में जन्माष्टमी त्योहार मनाने को लेकर बड़ा हादसा हो गया। यहां एक सरकारी स्कूल में जन्माष्टमी पर्व मनाते समय मटकी फोड़ कार्यक्रम के दौरान छत पर लगा सीमेंट का पोल गिर गया। हादसे के बाद स्कूल में अफरा तफरी मच गई। हादसे में 6 लड़कियां गंभीर घायल हो गई। आनन-फानन में सभी घायलों को अस्पताल ले जाया गया। जहां रास्ते में 2 लड़कियों की मौत हो गई। वहीं 4 बच्चियों का निजी अस्पताल में इलाज चल रहा है। यह हादसा उदयपुर शहर के गोवर्धन विलास थाना क्षेत्र में करीब 12:30 बजे हुआ।
जानकारी के अनुसार, शहर के गोवर्धन विलास थाना क्षेत्र में स्थित राजकीय उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालय जोगी तालाब में जन्माष्टमी त्योहार मनाया जा रहा था। जन्माष्टमी त्योहार के चलते स्कूल में मटकी फोड़ कार्यक्रम का आयोजन रखा गया था। मटकी फोड़ कार्यक्रम में भाग लेने के लिए स्टूडेंट्स स्कूल के पोर्च में इकठ्ठा हुए थे। इस दौरान स्कूल की छत पर ध्वजारोहण के लिए लगा लोहे का पोल सीमेंट के ब्लॉक सहित उखड़ कर नीचे बैठी छात्राओं पर आ गिरा।
दो छात्राओं की हुई मौत
हादसे में 6 छात्राएं घायल हो गई। घायल छात्राओं को तुरंत नजदीकी गीतांजलि हॉस्पिटल ले जाया गया। जहां डॉक्टरों ने नारायणी (17) और राधा (12) को मृत घोषित कर दिया गया। घायल छात्रा वंदना, बसंती (16) और केसर (13) का इलाज चल रहा है। नारायणी 7वीं और राधा 8वीं क्लास में पढ़ती थी।
सूचना मिलने पर जिला कलेक्टर अरविंद पोसवाल, ग्रामीण विधायक फूल सिंह मीणा सहित कई जनप्रतिनिधि और शिक्षा विभाग के अधिकारी गीतांजलि हॉस्पिटल पहुंचे।
बच्चाें के वजन से टूटा पिलर
गिरवा डीएसपी रजत विश्नोई ने बताया कि बुधवार को जन्माष्टमी के अवसर पर स्कूल में कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया था। इस दौरान ईंटों का 2 फीट ऊंचा पिलर छत से पोल समेत बच्चों पर गिर गया। इससे 2 छात्राओं की मौत हो गई और 3 बच्चियां घायल हैं, जिनका इलाज जारी है। मटकी फोड़ कार्यक्रम के दौरान एक रस्सी का एक सिरा पिलर से बांधा गया था और दूसरा एक टंकी से।
पिलर उस दबाव को झेल नहीं पाया और नीचे आ गिरा। इस दौरान बच्चे मटकी को रस्सी पर बांध रहे थे तो कुछ बच्चे नीचे जमीन पर मौजूद थे। फिलहाल, किसी परिजन ने मामला दर्ज नहीं कराया है। आगे अगर कोई मामला दर्ज कराएगा तो जांच को उसी तरीके से आगे बढ़ाया जाएगा।
हादसे के बाद मची अफरा-तफरी
कार्यक्रम में मौजूद बच्चों ने कहा कि मटकी फोड़ प्रतियोगिता शुरू हो चुकी थी। कुछ बच्चे मटकी फोड़ने में जुटे थे तो कुछ पोर्च में बैठकर कार्यक्रम को देख रहे थे। इस दौरान कुछ ऊपर से कुछ पत्थर गिरे। कुछ बच्चे तो भाग निकले और कुछ बच्चे समझ पाते इससे पहले ही ईंटों का पिलर पोल समेत आकर उन पर गिर गया। सब रोते हुए भागे और कार्यक्रम में अफरातफरी का माहौल हो गया।

Six girls were seriously injured in the accident. All the injured were immediately taken to the hospital. Where two girls died on the way. Four girls are undergoing treatment in a private hospital. This accident happened at around 12:30 in the Govardhan Vilas police station area of Udaipur city.
According to the information, Janmashtami festival was being celebrated in Government Higher Secondary School Jogi Talab located in Govardhan Vilas police station area of the city. Due to Janmashtami festival, a pot breaking program was organized in the school. Students had gathered in the school porch to participate in the Matki Fod program. During this time, the iron pole installed on the roof of the school for hoisting the flag got uprooted along with the cement block and fell on the girl students sitting below.
Two girl students died
Six girl students were injured in the accident. The injured girl students were immediately taken to the nearby Geetanjali Hospital. Where doctors declared Narayani (17) and Radha (12) dead. Injured students Vandana, Basanti (16) and Kesar (13) are undergoing treatment. Narayani studied in 7th class and Radha in 8th class.
On receiving the information, District Collector Arvind Poswal, Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena and many public representatives and officials of the Education Department reached Geetanjali Hospital.
Pillar broken due to weight of children
Girwa DSP Rajat Vishnoi said that a program was organized in the school on the occasion of Janmashtami on Wednesday. During this, a 2 feet high pillar of bricks fell from the roof along with the pole on the children. Due to this, 2 girl students died and 3 girls are injured, whose treatment is going on. During the Matki Phod programme, one end of a rope was tied to a pillar and the other to a tank.
Pilar could not bear that pressure and fell down. During this time, children were tying the pot on a rope while some children were present below on the ground. At present, no family member has registered a case. If anyone files a case in future, the investigation will be carried forward in the same manner.
There was chaos after the accident
The children present in the program said that the pot breaking competition had started. Some children were busy breaking pots while others were sitting in the porch watching the programme. During this time some stones fell from above. Some children ran away and before some children could understand, the brick pillar along with the pole fell on them. Everyone ran away crying and there was chaos in the programme.
