बीकानेर में, एक युवक की हत्या के मामले में मुलजिमों को गिरफ्तार करने की मांग के सिलसिले में परिजनों ने बुधवार को एसपी कार्यालय के सामने विरोध-प्रदर्शन किया और ज्ञापन दिया। इसके बाद, एक महिला ने आज से आमरण अनशन और धरना शुरू किया है, परिजनों का आरोप है कि पुलिस द्वारा आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी के मामले में कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की जा रही है।

यह घटना जसरासर थाना क्षेत्र के बेरासर गांव में हुई है, जहां मतदान के दिन 25 नवंबर को महेन्द्र सारण के साथ कुछ लोगों ने मारपीट की थी। इस मारपीट में घायल होने वाले महेन्द्र सारण की इलाज के दौरान मौत हो गई थी, और इसके बाद पुलिस ने हत्या का मुकदमा दर्ज किया था। परिजनों का कहना है कि उन्होंने मोर्चरी के बाहर धरना दिया, जिसके बाद पुलिस ने आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी की आश्वासन दिया था और धरना समाप्त करवाया था, लेकिन आज भी कुछ मुल्जिम बाहर घूम रहे हैं जो दिनबदिन उन्हें धमकियां दे रहे हैं। इसके बावजूद, पुलिस को कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की जा रही है।

After this, a woman has started a fast unto death and protest from today, alleging that the family members are not taking any action in the case of arrest of the accused by the police.

This incident took place in Berasar village of Jasrasar police station area, where on November 25, the day of voting, Mahendra Saran was beaten up by some people. Mahendra Saran, who was injured in this fight, died during treatment, and after this the police registered a case of murder. The family members say that they staged a dharna outside the mortuary, after which the police assured them of arresting the accused and ended the dharna, but even today some accused are roaming outside and threatening them day in and day out. Despite this, no action is being taken by the police.
