साइबर ठगी : परीक्षा केन्द्रों के बाहर पार्किंग में खड़े वाहनों से सिम,डेबिट-क्रेडिट कार्ड चुराकर 1 हजार लोगों से 1 करोड़ ठगे

जयपुर। कोटपूतली पुलिस ने जिला साइबर सेल की सहायता से परीक्षा केन्द्रों के बाहर पार्किंग में खड़े दुपहिया चौपाहिया वाहनों से सिम, डेबिट व क्रेडिट कार्ड चुराकर कार्डों का पिन रीजेनरेट कर रकम पार करने वाले गिरोह का पर्दाफाश कर दो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपियों ने देश में बड़ी संख्या में वारदातों को अंजाम देकर एक हजार से अधिक लोगों को अपना शिकार बनाया है। इन्होंने करीब एक करोड़ रुपए की साइबर ठगी की वारदातें कबूल की है। 7 से अधिक राज्यों की पुलिस इस गिरोह की तलाश कर रही थी। गिरोह के सदस्यों ने सभी वारदातें परीक्षा केन्द्रों के बाहर खड़ी कारों से चाेरी की है।

 पुलिस अधीक्षक रंजीता शर्मा ने बताया कि भागीरथ निवासी कारोड़ा थाना बहरोड़ ने 19 अगस्त को कोटपूतली थाने में व रेवाडी निवासी राकेश कुमार ने 2 अगस्त को पनियाला थाने में रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराई थी कि वे यहां एलएलबी की परीक्षा देने आए थे और परीक्षा केन्द्र के बाहर कार पार्किंग में खड़ी की थी। परीक्षा देकर बाहर आए तो कार में रखे डेबिट कार्ड, क्रेडिट कार्ड, कैश व मोबाइल गायब थे। आरोपियों ने कुछ ही समय में एटीएम कार्ड से एक लाख रुपए निकाल लिए और क्रेडिट कार्ड के जरिए गिफ्ट कार्ड खरीद कर लाखों रुपए की ऑनलाइन खरीदारी कर ली।

ऐसे पकड़ में आए आरोपी

पुलिस अधीक्षक ने बताया कि घटनाओं को गंभीरता से लेते साइबर सेल को ओरोपियों की पहचान करने के आदेश दिए। टीम ने पीडि़तों के बैंक स्टेटमेन्ट का अवलोकन किया। आसपास के सीसीटीवी फुटेज खंगाले। चोरी हुए मोबाइल की कॉल डिटेल प्राप्त कर अवलोकन किया तो पाया की गिरोह के सदस्य पिछले 2 वर्षों में विभिन्न राज्यों में 100 से अधिक वारदातों को अंजाम दे चुके है। इस पर दूसरे राज्यों की साइबर सेल से संपर्क किया जाकर वहां के परीक्षा केद्रों के बाहर हुई वारदातों की जानकारी ली। इसमें पाया कि गिरोह मोबाइल में चोरी के फोन की सिम का उपयोग करते थे। काम होने के बाद नदी नालों में फेंक देते थे। मास्क लगाकर एटीएम से रुपए निकालते थे। जिससे उनकी सही तस्वीर नहीं आती थी।

Police from more than 7 states were searching for this gang. The gang members have committed all the crimes from cars parked outside the examination centres.

Superintendent of Police Ranjita Sharma said that Bhagirath resident of Karora police station, Behror had lodged a report at Kotputli police station on August 19 and Rakesh Kumar, a resident of Rewari, had lodged a report at Paniyala police station on August 2 that they had come here to take the LLB examination and had parked their car outside the examination centre. Was parked in the parking lot. When he came out after the exam, the debit card, credit card, cash and mobile kept in the car were missing. Within a short time, the accused withdrew one lakh rupees from the ATM card and made online purchases worth lakhs of rupees by purchasing gift cards through credit cards.

The Superintendent of Police said that taking the incidents seriously, the cyber cell was ordered to identify the accused. The team observed the bank statements of the victims. Scrutinized the surrounding CCTV footage. After obtaining the call details of the stolen mobile, it was found that the gang members have committed more than 100 crimes in different states in the last 2 years. On this, cyber cells of other states were contacted and information about the incidents taking place outside the examination centers was obtained. It was found that the gang used stolen phone SIMs in mobile phones. After the work was done, they would throw it in the rivers and drains. Used to withdraw money from ATM wearing mask.
