जयपुर। राजस्थान विधानसभा चुनाव को लेकर कांग्रेस अभी तक 95 सीटों पर उम्मीदवार घोषित कर चुकी है। जबकि 105 सीटों पर उम्मीदवारों की घोषणा होना बाकि है। इन सीटों के लिए कांग्रेस नेतृत्व को कड़ी मशक्कत करनी पड़ रही है। पार्टी को भाजपा की तरह ही बगावत का डर सता रहा है। इस वजह से पार्टी एक-एक सीट पर विस्तार से चर्चा कर रही है। इस सिलसिले में सोमवार को दिल्ली स्थित कांग्रेस पार्टी मुख्लायल में केंद्रीय चुनाव समिति की (CEC) की बैठक हो रही है। बैठक में कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे, सोनिया गांधी, राहुल गांधी और वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस नेता बैठक में शामिल हुए। माना जा रहा है कि बैठक के बाद कांग्रेस कभी भी उम्मीदवारों की चौथी लिस्ट जारी कर सकती है।

इतनी सीटों पर नाम फाइनल
बता दें कि राजस्थान में उम्मीदवार चयन के लिए स्क्रीनिंग कमेटी की बैठक रविवार को 15 जीआरजी स्थित कांग्रेस के वॉर रूम में बैठक हुई। बैठक में हर सीट पर विस्तृत चर्चा की गई। करीब 64 सीटों पर उम्मीदवारों के नाम फाइनल कर केन्द्रीय चुनाव कमेटी (सीईसी) को भेजने पर सहमति बनी। जबकि करीब 30 से अधिक सीटों को अभी भी होल्ड पर रखा गया है।

इन सीटों को लेकर सोमवार को नेताओं की गहमा-गहमी बनी रही। स्क्रीनिंग कमेटी के अध्यक्ष गौरव गोगोई एक बार फिर कांग्रेस वॉर रूम में पहुंचे और यहां उन्होंने कुछ चुनिंदा नेताओं के साथ बैठक की। इससे पहले जोधपुर हाउस में मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत से मिलने मंत्री जाहिदा समेत कुछ अन्य नेता पहुंचे, लेकिन उनकी मुलाकात नहीं हो सकी।

30 सीटों पर नेताओं की राय अलग-अलग
सूत्रों ने बताया कि रविवार को हुई स्क्रीनिंग कमेटी की बैठक में हर सीट पर विस्तृत चर्चा की गई। कारण था कि इनमें से करीब 30 सीटों पर उम्मीदवारों के नामों को लेकर नेताओं में एक राय नहीं थी। साथ ही सर्वे में भी कई अलग नाम सामने आए। सोशल इंजीनियरिंग भी बड़ा मुद्दा बना हुआ था। सह प्रभारियों ने भी कई सीटों पर अपनी बात को रखा और कुछ विधायको के टिकट काटने तक की बात कही।

वहीं भाजपा के हाथों लगातार हार रही करीब डेढ़ दर्जन सीटों पर मजबूत उम्मीदवार उतारने को लेकर भी चर्चा हुई। स्क्रीनिंग कमेटी कुछ विवादित सीटों पर उम्मीदवारों का फैसला सीईसी पर छोड़ सकती है। रात करीब साढ़े ग्यारह बजे तक बैठक चली।

बैठक में स्क्रीनिंग कमेटी के अध्यक्ष गौरव गोगोई, राजस्थान के पर्यवेक्षक मधु सूदन मिस्त्री, मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत, प्रभारी सुखजिंदर सिंह रंधावा, सीडब्ल्यूसी सदस्य सचिन पायलट, प्रदेश अध्यक्ष गोविंद सिंह डोटासरा, सी.पी.जोशी के अलावा सह प्रभारी अमृता धवन, वीरेन्द्र राठौड़ और काजी निजामुद्दीन समेत अन्य सदस्य शामिल हुए।

Jaipur. Congress has so far declared candidates on 95 seats for the Rajasthan Assembly elections. Whereas candidates for 105 seats are yet to be announced. The Congress leadership has to work hard for these seats. Like BJP, the party is afraid of rebellion. For this reason the party is discussing each seat in detail. In this connection, a meeting of the Central Election Committee (CEC) is being held at the Congress Party Headquarters in Delhi on Monday. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and senior Congress leaders attended the meeting. It is believed that Congress can release the fourth list of candidates any time after the meeting.

Names finalized on so many seats
Let us tell you that the meeting of the screening committee for candidate selection in Rajasthan was held on Sunday in the war room of Congress located at 15 GRG. Every seat was discussed in detail in the meeting. It was agreed to finalize the names of candidates for about 64 seats and send them to the Central Election Committee (CEC). Whereas more than 30 seats are still kept on hold.

There was a lot of confusion among the leaders regarding these seats on Monday. Screening Committee Chairman Gaurav Gogoi once again reached the Congress War Room and here he held a meeting with some selected leaders. Earlier, Minister Zahida and some other leaders reached Jodhpur House to meet Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, but they could not meet.

Leaders have different opinions on 30 seats
Sources said that every seat was discussed in detail in the screening committee meeting held on Sunday. The reason was that there was no consensus among the leaders regarding the names of candidates for about 30 of these seats. Also, many different names came up in the survey. Social engineering also remained a big issue. Co-in-charges also expressed their views on many seats and even talked about canceling the tickets of some MLAs.

There was also discussion about fielding strong candidates on about one and a half dozen seats which were continuously losing to BJP. The screening committee may leave the decision on candidates on some disputed seats to the CEC. The meeting continued till around 11:30 at night.

In the meeting, Screening Committee Chairman Gaurav Gogoi, Rajasthan Supervisor Madhu Sudan Mistry, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, CWC member Sachin Pilot, State President Govind Singh Dotasara, CP Joshi besides co-in-charge Amrita Dhawan, Virendra Rathore were present. And other members including Qazi Nizamuddin participated.
