दरअसल, यह घटना पश्चिम बंगाल के पूर्व बर्दमान की है. मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक घटना पश्चिम बंगाल के बर्दमान जिले की है. यहां के रहने वाले मजदूर भास्कर माजी को शायद पता नहीं था कि किस्मत उसके साथ कितना बड़ा खेल करने वाली है. वह बकरी चराने गया हुआ था और जब वह बकरी चराकर वापस लौटा तो वह लॉटरी जीत चुका था. असल में यह मजदूर काफी समय से लॉटरी के टिकट पर अपनी किस्मत आजमाता रहता था. आखिर में एक रोज उसकी कीमत खुल गई.
बताया गया कि जब वह वापस लौटा तो उसे किसी ने खबर दी कि उसके जो टिकट खरीदा था, उस पर जैकपॉट खुल गया है और उसे ईनाम मिल गया है. असल में वह किसान पिछले दस सालों से लॉटरी की टिकट खरीद रहा था. रविवार को उसने 40 रुपए उधार लेकर लॉटरी का टिकट खरीदा और दोपहर में वो करोड़पति बन गया. इसकी खबर सुनकर वह भी काफी खुश हुआ और उसके घर वाले भी काफी खुश हुए.
