बीकानेर। अर्बन होमगार्ड के कमांडेड पद से गजेंद्र सिंह के रिटायरमेंट होने के बाद आज बाड़मेर के उप समादेष्टा पद पर कार्यरत वीरेंद्र सिंह ने बीकानेर के अर्बन होमगार्ड पद पर अतिरिक्त कार्यभार ग्रहण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने कहा की उनकी प्राथमिकता रहेगी कि वह होमगार्ड के जवानों की समस्या को सुनकर और दूर करें और विभाग में ज्यादा से ज्यादा जवानों की ड्यूटी कैसे लगे इसके लिए प्रयास करेंगे।
बता दे कि वीरेन्द्र सिंह 60वें ऑल इंडिया वाटर मैनशिप कोर्स बैंगलोर में वर्ष 2009 में गोल्ड मेडल,आपरेशन पराक्रम मेडल,2020 में राष्ट्रपति द्वारा गृहरक्षा पदक,2022 में महानिदेशक महा समादेष्टा राजस्थान के द्वारा डिजी डिस्क से सम्मानित भी हो चुके हैं।
