लोकप्रिय चैटिंग प्लेटफॉर्म WhatsApp में लगातार नए फीचर्स शामिल किए जाते हैं और इन्हें सभी के लिए स्टेबल वर्जन का हिस्सा बनाने से पहले बीटा वर्जन में टेस्ट किया जाता है। अब वॉट्सऐप एक ऐसे फीचर पर काम कर रहा है, जिसके साथ यूजर्स के प्रोफाइल से जुड़ी जानकारी चैट विंडो में ही दिखाई जाएगी। इस तरह किसी नंबर से मेसेज आने पर बिना चैट इन्फो में गए ही उसकी प्रोफाइल इन्फॉर्मेशन देखी जा सकेगी।
वॉट्सऐप यूजर्स के लिए नया फीचर ऐसी स्थिति में फायदेबंद होगा, जब किसी अनजान कॉन्टैक्ट से मेसेज आता है। इसके बाद अभी यूजर्स को चैट ओपेन करने के अलावा चैट इन्फो पेज पर जाना पड़ता है। यहां यूजर की प्रोफाइल फोटो से लेकर नाम और स्टेटस जैसी जानकारी दिखाई जाती है। अब यह जानकारी देखने के लिए चैट इन्फो पेज पर नहीं जाना होगा। प्रोफाइल से जुड़ी जानकारी अब चैट विंडो ओपेन करते ही सबसे ऊपर दिखेगी।
एंड्रॉयड बीटा यूजर्स को मिला फीचर
वॉट्सऐप अपडेट्स और फीचर्स की जानकारी देने वाली ब्लॉग साइट WABetaInfo ने बताया है कि नए फीचर को वॉट्सऐप बीटा फॉर एंड्रॉयड वर्जन 2.23.25.11 अपडेट का हिस्सा बनाया गया है, जो गूगल प्ले स्टोर पर उपलब्ध है। नए बदलाव के साथ मेसेजिंग ऐप में प्रोफाइल इन्फो कन्वर्सेशन के हिस्से के तौर पर चैटिंग विंडो में ही दिख रहा है। सामने आया है कि यह फीचर ऐप में यूजर्स फीडबैक लेने के बाद शामिल किया जा रहा है।
रिपोर्ट में बताया गया है कि कई यूजर्स की मांग थी कि कन्वर्सेशंस में ही यूजर्स के प्रोफाइल से जुड़ी बेसिक जानकारी दिखाई जाए और मेटा की ओनरशिप वाले ऐप ने इस आधार पर नया बदलाव किया है। प्रोफाइल इन्फॉर्मेशन के साथ आसानी से तय किया जा सकता है कि किसी कॉन्टैक्ट से बात करनी है या नहीं। अब इसके लिए अलग से स्टेप्स फॉलो करने की जरूरत नहीं है। जल्द सभी यूजर्स को इस बदलाव का फायदा मिलने लगेगा।
प्रोफाइल में होने वाले बदलाव भी दिखेंगे
नए फीचर का एक और फायदा यह है कि किसी यूजर की ओर से नाम या स्टेटस जैसे प्रोफाइल इन्फो में किए गए बदलाव तुरंत दिख जाएंगे। अभी ये बदलाव चैट इन्फो पेज पर जाने के बाद ही दिखते हैं और ऐसा ना करने पर लंबे वक्त तक नजर नहीं आते। प्लेटफॉर्म वॉट्सऐप चैनल ओनर्स के साथ भी नए फीचर्स की टेस्टिंग कर रहा है और उन्हें सस्पेंड किए गए चैनल की जानकारी बेहतर ढंग से दी जाएगी।

After this, apart from opening the chat, users have to go to the chat info page. Here information like user's profile photo, name and status is shown. Now you will not have to go to the chat info page to see this information. Information related to the profile will now be visible at the top as soon as the chat window is opened.
Android beta users got the feature
WABetaInfo, a blog site giving information about WhatsApp updates and features, has said that the new feature has been made a part of WhatsApp Beta for Android version 2.23.25.11 update, which is available on Google Play Store. With the new change, profile information in the messaging app is visible in the chatting window as part of the conversation. It has come to light that this feature is being included in the app after taking user feedback.
It has been said in the report that many users had demanded that basic information related to the user's profile should be shown in the conversations itself and the Meta-owned app has made a new change on this basis. With profile information it can be easily decided whether to talk to a contact or not. Now there is no need to follow separate steps for this. Soon all users will start getting the benefit of this change.
Changes in the profile will also be visible
Another advantage of the new feature is that changes made by a user in profile information like name or status will be visible immediately. Currently, these changes are visible only after visiting the chat info page and if not done so, they will not be visible for a long time. The platform is also testing new features with WhatsApp channel owners and will provide them with better information about suspended channels.
