वॉट्सऐप (WhatsApp) में बड़ा बदलाव होने वाला है। कंपनी जल्द की वॉट्सऐप बैकअप के लिए यूजर्स के गूगल ड्राइव स्टोरेज को यूज करना शुरू कर देगी। वॉट्सऐप ने पिछले महीने अपनी पॉलिसी को अपडेट किया था और इसमें बैकअप डेटा के बारे में भी बड़ा ऐलान किया गया था। कंपनी इस बदलाव को ग्लोबल यूजर्स के लिए कौनसी डेट को रोलआउट करेगी, इस बारे में अभी कोई जानकारी सामने नहीं आई है। वहीं, कुछ बीटा यूजर्स को यह बदलाव अभी से ही दिखना शुरू हो गया है। वॉट्सऐप डेटा बैकअप का यह बदलाव ऐंड्रयड यूजर्स के लिए होने वाला है।

नया चेंज रोलआउट होने के बाद वॉट्सऐप चैट हिस्ट्री, इमेज और वीडियो सीधे गूगल ड्राइव पर स्टोर होंगे। मेटा ने कन्फर्म कर दिया है कि यह बदलाव इस साल के शुरुआती 6 महीनों में हो सकता है। यूजर्स को इसकी जानकारी देने के लिए 30 दिन पहले से नोटिफिकेशन मिलना शुरू हो जाएगा। यह नोटिफिकेशन ऐप की चैट बैकअप सेटिंग्स बैनर के रूप में दिखेगा। 

इन ऑप्शन का कर सकते हैं यूज
अपनी मौजूदा चैट हिस्ट्री को गूगल ड्राइव पर नहीं सेव करना चाहते हैं, तो आप बिल्ट-इन चैट ट्रांसफर टूल का इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं। इससे आपका डेटा नए डिवाइस पर बड़े आराम से ट्रांसफर हो जाएगा। इसके लिए जरूरी है कि आपके दोनों फोन एक ही वाई-फाई कनेक्शन से जुड़े हों। वहीं, टेक्स्ट ओनली बैकअप के जरिए आप मीडिया फाइल्स को छोड़ कर केवल टेक्स्ट को बैकअप कर सकते हैं।

देने पड़ सकते हैं पैसे
वॉट्सऐप के इस बदलाव के बाद ऐंड्रॉयड यूजर भी आईफोन यूजर्स की कैटिगरी में आ जाएंगे। आईफोन यूजर्स को वॉट्सऐप बैकअप iCloud पर स्टोर होगा। चिंता की बात यह है कि गूगल ड्राइव का फ्री स्टोरेज बहुत जल्द ही खत्म हो जाएगा और यूजर्स को ज्यादा स्पेस के लिए पैसे देने पड़ सकते हैं।

After the new change is rolled out, WhatsApp chat history, images and videos will be stored directly on Google Drive. Meta has confirmed that this change may happen in the first 6 months of this year. Users will start receiving notifications 30 days in advance to inform them about this. This notification will appear as the app's chat backup settings banner.

You can use these options
If you don't want to save your existing chat history to Google Drive, you can use the built-in chat transfer tool. With this, your data will be transferred to the new device very easily. For this, it is necessary that both your phones are connected to the same Wi-Fi connection. At the same time, through text only backup, you can leave the media files and backup only the text.

You may have to pay money
After this change of WhatsApp, Android users will also come in the category of iPhone users. For iPhone users, WhatsApp backup will be stored on iCloud. The matter of concern is that Google Drive's free storage will end very soon and users may have to pay for more space.
