छह सीनियर IAS पर भारी पड़े पंत, जानिए सुधांशु ही क्यों बने भजनलाल सरकार के पसंदीदा अधिकारी

जयपुर: राजस्थान की भजनलाल सरकार ने 1991 बैच के आईएएस अफसर सुधांश पंत को प्रदेश का नया मुख्य सचिव बनाया है। पंत ने सोमवार 1 जनवरी को सचिवालय पहुंचकर पदभार ग्रहण कर लिया। अक्टूबर 2022 में केंद्र सरकार में प्रतिनियुक्ति पर गए सुधांश पंत को 30 दिसंबर को वापस राजस्थान भेजा। 31 दिसंबर को निवर्तमान मुख्य सचिव उषा शर्मा का कार्यकाल पूरा होते ही उसी दिन भजनलाल सरकार ने सुधांश पंत को प्रदेश की ब्यूरोक्रेसी का बॉस यानी मुख्य सचिव बना दिया।

इसलिए बने पीएम मोदी के पसंदीदा बने सुधांश पंत
मई 2014 में मोदी पहली बार देश के प्रधानमंत्री बने। सितंबर 2014 में सुधांश पंत केंद्र में प्रतिनियुक्ति पर गए और चार साल तक फार्मास्यूटिकल्स विभाग में संयुक्त सचिव रहे। बाद में उन्होंने करीब सालभर तक स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण विभाग में सेवाएं दी। अप्रैल 2022 में वे राजस्थान लौटे लेकिन पूर्ववर्ती गहलोत सरकार के मंत्रियों के साथ उनकी पटरी नहीं बैठी। दिसंबर 2022 में पंत ने फिर से केंद्र में प्रतिनियुक्ति के लिए आवेदन किया तो तुरंत अनुमति मिल गई। पिछले दिनों कोरोना की आहट फिर से सुनाई दी तो जून 2023 में पीएम मोदी ने उन्हें चिकित्सा और स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय में सचिव बनाया। पंत पीएम मोदी के सबसे भरोसेमंद और काबिल अफसरों में से एक हैं। दिसंबर 2023 में पूरे देश के चिकित्सा मंत्रियों-सचिवों और आम जनता के लिए कोरोना के नए वेरिएंट के बारे में जो चेतावनी पत्र जारी हुआ, वह पत्र सुधांश पंत ने ही तैयार किया था।

ये 6 सीनियर अफसर हैं पंत से वरिष्ठ
राजस्थान कैडर में 6 आईएएस अफसर ऐसे हैं जो सुधांश पंत से सीनियर हैं। इनमें सुबोध अग्रवाल, वी. श्रीनिवासन, शुभ्रा सिंह, राजेश्वर सिंह, रोहित कुमार सिंह और संजय मल्होत्रा शामिल हैं। वी. श्रीनिवास, रोहित कुमार सिंह और संजय मल्होत्रा पहले से केंद्रीय प्रतिनियुक्ति पर हैं और वे राजस्थान नहीं लौटना चाहते थे।वी. श्रीनिवास दिल्ली से जयपुर आने के इच्छुक नहीं थे। संजय मल्होत्रा भी केंद्र सरकार में बड़ा पद पाने की उम्मीद में हैं और रोहित कुमार सिंह 6 महीने बाद सेवानिवृत्त होने वाले हैं। रोहित कुमार सिंह की पत्नी आईपीएस नीना सिंह भी दिल्ली में हैं। हाल ही में उन्हें सीआईएसएफ का डीजी बनाया गया है।

सुबोध अग्रवाल को भ्रष्टाचार के आरोप ले डूबे
राजस्थान कैडर से सबसे सीनियर अफसर सुबोध अग्रवाल हैं लेकिन उन पर भ्रष्टाचार के गंभीर आरोप हैं। जल जीवन मिशन में करोड़ों रुपए के घोटालों के आरोप में पूर्व मंत्री और विभाग के अफसरों के साथ सुबोध अग्रवाल भी लपेटे में आए हुए हैं। पिछले दिनों ईडी ने सुबोध अग्रवाल के दफ्तर, घर और अन्य ठिकानों पर छापेमारी की थी। बताया जा रहा है ईडी के पास अग्रवाल द्वारा किए गए भ्रष्टाचार का बड़ा पुलिंदा है। ऐसे में उन्हें मुख्य सचिव की कुर्सी पर बैठाना संभव नहीं था।

शुभ्रा सिंह और राजेश्वर सिंह से ज्यादा भरोसा पंत पर
सुधांश पंत के वर्क स्टाइल से भाजपा का केंद्रीय नेतृत्व काफी प्रभावित है। वे किसी भी फाइल को लंबित नहीं रखते। बताया जाता है कि कोई भी मामला हो, पंत सीधे दो टूक बात करते हैं। मामले की समीक्षा के बाद वे हां या ना का निर्णय तुरंत लेते हैं। यही वर्क स्टाइल उनकी काबिलियत की बड़ी खासियत बन गया। यही वजह है कि शुभ्रा सिंह और राजेश्वर सिंह को दरकिनार करते हुए भजनलाल सरकार ने पंत को मुख्य सचिव जैसे सबसे महत्वपूर्ण पद की जिम्मेदारी दी।

Jaipur: Bhajanlal government of Rajasthan has appointed 1991 batch IAS officer Sudhansh Pant as the new Chief Secretary of the state. Pant reached the Secretariat on Monday, January 1 and took charge. Sudhansh Pant, who went on deputation to the Central Government in October 2022, was sent back to Rajasthan on 30 December. On December 31, as soon as the tenure of outgoing Chief Secretary Usha Sharma was completed, on the same day the Bhajanlal government made Sudhansh Pant the boss of the state bureaucracy i.e. Chief Secretary.

In May 2014, Modi became the Prime Minister of the country for the first time. In September 2014, Sudhansh Pant went on deputation to the Center and was Joint Secretary in the Department of Pharmaceuticals for four years. Later he served in the Health and Family Welfare Department for about a year. He returned to Rajasthan in April 2022 but he did not get along well with the ministers of the previous Gehlot government. When Pant again applied for deputation at the Center in December 2022, he immediately got permission. Recently, when the sound of Corona was heard again, in June 2023, PM Modi made him Secretary in the Ministry of Medical and Health. Pant is one of the most trusted and capable officers of PM Modi. The warning letter issued to the medical ministers, secretaries and general public of the entire country in December 2023 about the new variants of Corona was prepared by Sudhansh Pant.

Srinivas, Rohit Kumar Singh and Sanjay Malhotra are already on central deputation and they did not want to return to Rajasthan. Srinivas was not interested in coming to Jaipur from Delhi. Subodh Aggarwal, along with former ministers and officers of the department, is also involved in allegations of scams worth crores of rupees in Jal Jeevan Mission. Recently, ED had raided Subodh Aggarwal's office, house and other places. It is being told that ED has a big bundle of corruption done by Agarwal. In such a situation, it was not possible to make him sit on the chair of Chief Secretary.

More trust on Pant than Shubhra Singh and Rajeshwar Singh
