राज्यों में होने वाले विधानसभा चुनावों के लिए लंबे समय के इंतजार के बाद कांग्रेस ने अपने उम्मीदवारों का एलान कर ही दिया। कांग्रेस ने तीन राज्यों मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़ और तेलंगाना में आगामी विधानसभा चुनाव को लेकर उम्मीदवारों की पहली लिस्ट जारी कर दी है। इस सूची में कुल 229 उम्मीदवारों के नाम तय किए गए हैं। जिसमें मध्यप्रदेश से 144, छत्तीसगढ़ से 30 और तेलंगाना से 55 उम्मीदवारों को मैदान में उतारा है। बची हुई सीटों पर उम्मीदवारों की दूसरी लिस्ट में बाद में जारी होगी।
