राजस्थान चुनाव 2023: पत्नी के शव के सामने बुजुर्ग ने डाला वोट, फिर किया अंतिम संस्कार

पहली बार चुनाव आयोग ने बुजुर्ग और अक्षम्य लोगों के लिए घर से मतदान की प्रक्रिया शुरू की है और इसके अच्छे परिणाम भी सामने आ रहे हैं। यह प्रक्रिया 21 नवम्बर तक जारी रहने वाली है। इसके तहत बुजुर्गों के पास मशीनरी और दस्तावेज लेकर अधिकारी खुद जा रहे हैं और घर पर ही उनका मतदान करवा रहे हैं। इस बीच जोधपुर से जो तस्वीर सामने आई है उसने सभी को झकझोर कर रख दिया है। हालांकि इस बुजुर्ग ने देश के हर नागरिक के सामने एक नजीर भी पेश की है।

शनिवार सुबह जोधपुर में मतदान कराने अफसरों की टीम जब एक घर पहुंची तो पता चला कि यहां एक बुजुर्ग महिला की मौत हो गई है इसपर मतदान कर्मी ठिठक गए। वे अंदर ही नहीं जा रहे थे। बाद में जब मृत महिला के पति से मतदान के बारे में बातचीत की गई तो उन्होंने कहा कि मतदान जरूरी है और वह अपना वोट करना चाहते हैं। बुजुर्ग ने अपनी पत्नी के शव के पास ही बैठे हुए मतदान किया।

मतदान कर्मी घर पहुंचे तो चल रही थी अंतिम संस्कार की तैयारी
जोधपुर जिले के ग्रामीण इलाके में स्थित लुणावास कलां गांव में रहने वाले सरदार राम और उनकी पत्नी लहरी देवी ने होम वोटिंग के लिए आवेदन किया था। इस दौरान दल शुक्रवार को उनके घर पहुंचा। पता चला कि लहरी देवी की कुछ समय पहले मौत हो गई है और घर में अंतिम संस्कार की तैयारियां चल रही थी। व्यथित सरदार राम अपनी पत्नी के शव के पास बैठे हैं।

बुजुर्ग बोले, पत्नी होती तो वह भी जरूर वोट देतीं
ऐसे में मतदान दल को अंदर आने से ही थोड़ा अजीन लगने लगा कि इस तरह के मौके पर कैसे अंदर जाया जाएं। लेकिन परिवार के सदस्यों ने सरदार राम को मतदान करने के लिए पूछा तो वह तैयार हो गए। उन्होंने मतदान किया और कहा कि पत्नी का देहांत हो गया है, नहीं तो वे भी जरूर मत देतीं। 

पूरे राजस्थान में मतदान का 85 प्रतिशत होम वोटिंग हुई है। इस दौरान मतदान के लिए अप्लाई करने वाले और मत नहीं डाल पाने वाले 709 बुजुर्गों की मौत हो चुकी है। मतदान दल उनके यहां पहुंचा तो अधिकतर के घरों में अंतिम संस्कार की तैयारियां चल रही थीं।

This process is going to continue till 21st November. Under this, officers themselves are going to the elderly with machinery and documents and getting them to vote at home. Meanwhile, the picture that has emerged from Jodhpur has shocked everyone. However, this elder has also set an example for every citizen of the country.

When the team of officers reached a house to conduct voting in Jodhpur on Saturday morning, they came to know that an elderly woman had died there and the polling personnel stopped there. They were not going inside. Later, when the deceased woman's husband was discussed about voting, he said that voting is necessary and he wanted to cast his vote. The old man voted while sitting near his wife's dead body.

When the polling personnel reached home, preparations for the funeral were going on.
Sardar Ram and his wife Lahari Devi, residents of Lunawas Kalan village located in the rural area of Jodhpur district, had applied for home voting. During this time the team reached his house on Friday. It was revealed that Lahari Devi had died some time ago and preparations for the last rites were going on at home. The distressed Sardar Ram is sitting near his wife's dead body.

The old man said, if he had a wife, she too would definitely have voted.
In such a situation, as soon as the polling party came inside, they started feeling a little confused as to how to go inside on such an occasion. But when the family members asked Sardar Ram to vote, he agreed. He voted and said that his wife had passed away, otherwise she would definitely have voted.

85 percent home voting took place across Rajasthan. During this period, 709 elderly people who applied to vote and could not cast their vote have died. When the polling team reached their place, preparations for the last rites were going on in most of their homes.
