कोटा के महावीर नगर इलाके में आरटीयू में कार्यरत एक टेक्नीशियन ने फंदा लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली। मृतक के शव का पोस्टमॉर्टम करवाकर शव घरवालों के सुपुर्द कर दिया। सीआई परमजीत पटेल ने बताया कि राजस्थान तकनीकी यूनिवर्सिटी में टेक्नीशियन के पद पर कार्यरत चौथमल गोस्वामी (57) महावीर नगर विस्तार योजना में रहते थे।

जिन्होंने घर पर ही कमरे में फंदा लगा लिया। वह अपने कमरे में सोए थे। रविवार को दोपहर तक जब वह नहीं उठे तो बेटे और पत्नी ने दरवाजा खटखटाया, लेकिन कोई जवाब नहीं मिला। घरवालों ने दरवाजा तोड़ा और अंदर पहुंचकर देखा तो वह फंदे पर लटके हुए थे। इस पर घरवालों ने उन्हें फंदे से उतारकर न्यू मेडिकल कॉलेज अस्पताल पहुंचाया। जहां डॉक्टरों ने मृत घोषित कर दिया। सूचना पर पुलिस भी मौके पर पहुंच गई थी और शव को पोस्टमॉर्टम रूम में शिफ्ट करवाया।

पुलिस ने बताया कि शव का पोस्टमॉर्टम करवा दिया गया है। सुसाइड के कारणों का पता नही लग सका है। बताया जा रहा है कि कुछ समय पहले उसका हर्निया का ऑपरेशन हुआ था और दवाइयां चल रही थी। माना जा रहा है कि बीमारी के चलते वह परेशान थे। पुलिस के अनुसार कारणों की जांच की जा रही है।

CI Paramjit Patel said that Chauthamal Goswami (57), working as a technician in Rajasthan Technical University, lived in Mahavir Nagar Extension Scheme.

Those who hanged themselves in the room at home. He slept in his room. When he did not wake up till noon on Sunday, the son and wife knocked on the door, but got no answer. The family members broke the door and reached inside and saw that he was hanging on the noose. On this, the family members took him out of the trap and took him to the New Medical College Hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead. On information, the police also reached the spot and got the body shifted to the postmortem room.

Police said that the postmortem of the dead body has been done. The reasons for the suicide could not be ascertained. It is being told that some time back he had undergone hernia operation and was on medicines. It is believed that he was upset due to illness. According to the police, the reasons are being investigated.
